We need a hands-on Video and Content Producer who can plan, shoot, direct, and edit for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, web, and event coverage. You’ll partner with marketing to turn simple briefs into scroll-stopping stories, from on-site shoots, content creation and event recaps to fast cut-downs.Job Responsibilities2. Stakeholder Collaboration & Brand Governance Content Planning & ProductionTranslate briefs into simple treatments, shot lists, and schedules.Shoot with mirrorless/DSLR or smartphone rigs; set up basic lighting and capture clean audio.Direct on-camera talent (often non-actors); keep tone, pacing, and brand voice on point.Cover live/internal events and produce highlight reels.Edit vertical-first videos (9:16) plus 1:1 and 16:9 versions; add captions/subtitles.Apply basic motion graphics, sound design, and color balance (Premiere/CapCut + basic AE/Motion).Create thumbnails and simple graphics in Figma/Canva; export to platform specs.Maintain quality control across versions and deliverables.Prepare titles, descriptions, tags, and upload assets across TikTok, IG Reels, YT Shorts, and web.Work to a content calendar; coordinate with marketing on priorities and timelines.Keep file/footage naming tidy; back up projects; maintain an asset library.Track content KPIs (hook rate, 3-sec views, avg. watch time, completion rate, saves/shares).Run creative tests on hooks, lengths, captions, and thumbnails; iterate based on insights.Share a simple weekly summary of learnings and next steps.Partner with marketing, design, and partnerships to align messaging and timing.Uphold brand guidelines and accessibility best practices (readable captions, safe margins).When needed, coordinate freelancers (camera/voiceover) for larger shootsJob Requirements4–8 years creating social-first content and video with a strong portfolio (please share links).Confident shooting with mirrorless/DSLR or pro smartphone rigs; basic three-point lighting; lav/shotgun audio.Editing in Premiere Pro (or Final Cut/CapCut Pro) and basic After Effects/Motion for simple titles/graphics.Strong grasp of vertical storytelling (hook in first 2–3 seconds), pacing, and subtitles.Familiar with best practices for TikTok, IG Reels, and YouTube Shorts.Highly organised, deadline-reliable, and comfortable managing multiple edits.Language: Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.Required SkillsExpert-level proficiency in Laravel, ReactJS, and React Native developmentStrong understanding of state management in React (e.g., Redux, Context API)Experience with version control systems (preferably Git)Excellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong leadership and team management abilitiesExceptional communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities effectivelyProficiency in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient codeExperience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practicesPreferred SkillsKnowledge of other JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, Angular)Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Alicloud)Familiarity with Docker and containerizationUnderstanding of serverless architectureExperience with MongoDB and GraphQLKnowledge of performance optimization techniques for web and mobile applicationsBenefitsDental insuranceHealth insuranceMaternity leaveOpportunities for promotionProfessional developmentVision insurance
