Job DescriptionPosition: Part-Time Video CoordinatorDepartment: MarketingFLSA Grade: Part-Time, Non-ExemptSalary: $22-25/hrPosition SummaryThe LA Phil is seeking a highly detail-oriented Part-Time Video Coordinator to join our Video Team within the Marketing Department. The Video Team is an efficient and ambitious group of creatives responsible for crafting video content to serve the organization’s storytelling, promotional, and performance capture needs.The Video Team Strives ToCreate beautiful work across a wide breadth of topics and styles.Produce content at a high volume to reflect the organization’s many programs.Prioritize impactful and equitable storytelling for local and global audiences.Foster an inclusive and collaborative culture of open-mindedness and continuous learning.The Video Coordinator will work together with the Senior Video Producer. They will support the entire Video Team with active project management and collaborative communications within and between various teams and departments of the LA Phil. They will coordinate internal and external stakeholder reviews and feedback for video projects, quality assurance of drafts and final deliverables, as well as the packaging and deployment of final content deliverables across the LA Phil’s owned channels and collaborative placements.Primary ResponsibilitiesMaintaining status updates on shared project management software to ensure accuracy, visibility, and an efficient team workflow.Providing the first stage of quality assurance on all videos with particular attention to visual consistency by noting necessary missing elements and discrepancies between copy used across all Marketing materials, as well as by identifying opportunities to communicate information more clearly to audiences.Tracking, renaming, moving, copying, and re-organizing review and final delivery files and links for consistency and timely distribution.Editing, proofing, and exporting shortform content on an as-needed basis to support editor workloads.Updating and maintaining both older and upcoming content on the LA Phil’s YouTube channels by uploading, optimizing for SEO best practices, and by managing metadata, titles, thumbnails, and end screens.Identifying shifting YouTube trends and keywords to recommend and implement a consistent, channel growth-oriented SEO strategy.Ingesting final deliverables from both internal teams and external vendors and tagging video content in our DAM for future use.Collecting and organizing artist assets and promotional copy; editing assets and re-cropping when needed.Writing, proofing, and scheduling video routing emails, calls, and meeting notes.Consolidating and clarifying video edit feedback with internal and external stakeholders and creative partners; communicating detailed changes to video stakeholders using concise language.Identifying and flagging project roadblocks, potentially difficult scheduling deadlines, and bandwidth issues.Researching and sourcing archival footage from our DAM and external hard drives for various projects.Other project-specific work may be requested on an as-needed basis.Job RequirementsPlease NoteThis job posting is for someone who is a skilled and proactive project manager or producer with video and/or content workflow experience.
