The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging, high-quality video content tailored for social media platforms including Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook.The role requires creativity, speed, strong storytelling ability, and a solid understanding of current digital trends and content formats.Key ResponsibilitiesEdit and produce short-form videos for social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook. Transform raw footage into high-performing content with strong hooks, dynamic pacing, and engaging visuals. Add effects, transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, sound effects, and background music as needed. Collaborate with creative teams to understand content goals, brand messaging, and audience preferences. Repurpose long-form videos into short-form clips suitable for different social platforms. Stay updated on trending audio, editing styles, and viral formats within the short-form content ecosystem. Ensure all videos maintain quality standards and are delivered within required timelines. RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Media Studies, Film Production, Mass Communication, or relevant field (preferred but not mandatory). 2+ years of professional experience in video editing, specifically short-form and social media content. Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Strong sense of visual storytelling, creativity, and pacing. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with social media algorithms, trends, and audience engagement strategies. Good communication and collaboration skills.
