Job Title: Video Editor & Content ProducerLocation: Remote (Mexico, Guatemala El Salvador or Colombia strongly preferred)Type: Full-timeReports to: Founder / Media LeadAbout Mayorga CoffeeMayorga Coffee is a fast-growing, Latin-rooted coffee company built on sustainability, direct relationships with producers, and a mission to elevate Latin American culture. We are expanding our brand presence across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, and we need a skilled editor to turn our footage into consistent, high-quality content.Role PurposeThe founder and top staff generate a constant flow of raw footage—origin trips, founder life, behind-the-scenes at the roastery, product launches, storytelling, farm travels, and cultural content. Editing is now the bottleneck.This role exists to take all that footage and transform it into polished, engaging videos that reflect the voice, tone, and identity of the Mayorga brand. This is a production role, not a travel role. You will receive footage digitally and handle all post-production remotely.Key ResponsibilitiesDaily & Weekly Production• Edit YouTube videos (8–12 minutes) and deliver consistent weekly uploads• Produce short-form videos for YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn clips• Receive raw footage from the founder and staff and turn it into compelling stories• Create platform-specific versions quickly and efficientlyPost-Production Craft• Add subtitles, graphics, transitions, captions, and music• Fix audio, color, and exposure issues• Develop and maintain a consistent visual style for Mayorga content• Understand pacing, hooks, retention, and audience psychologyPipeline & Organization• Build and maintain a clean folder system for all footage• Manage deadlines and maintain a predictable content schedule• Select the best raw clips and identify strong narrative angles• Communicate with internal team for context, direction, and priority changesCreative Contribution• Suggest ideas, hooks, and formats based on platform trends• Break long videos into short clips for rapid posting• Understand the brand’s Latin American identity and integrate it naturally into editsRequired Skills & Qualifications• Strong portfolio showing YouTube + short-form editing• Fast, clean editing with modern pacing• Experience adding captions, graphic callouts, and motion text• Ability to edit raw iPhone footage and travel footage• Highly organized and able to manage large volumes of content• Able to work under tight deadlines with consistent output• Clear communicator with professional responsiveness• Bonus: familiarity with Latin American culture, coffee, or storytelling• Bonus: Spanish/English bilingual (preferred)Soft Skills That Matter• Extremely reliable and deadline-driven• Storytelling instinct—not just technical editing• Creative without being chaotic• Comfortable receiving lots of raw content and distilling it into something coherent• Able to collaborate with high-performing teams• Highly proactive—doesn’t wait for direction on every detailTools We Expect You To Use• Adobe Premiere Pro (or DaVinci Resolve)• After Effects or equivalent (preferred but not required)• CapCut for rapid short-form (optional but useful)• Google Drive for file management• WhatsApp for communicationCompensation & Benefits• Competitive salary based on experience + cost of living in region• End-of-year performance bonus• Long-term growth opportunity as we build a larger internal media team• Stable full-time employment with a U.S.-based brand• Opportunities to work closely with a mission-driven company connected deeply to Latin AmericaHow to Apply• Send your portfolio (YouTube + short-form samples required) to Martin@MayorgaCoffee.com• Include 2–3 examples of videos that match the style or energy you think fits the brand• Include a short voice note or message explaining your editing approach
