Boat Crew

Job DescriptionThe Boat Crew Member will be responsible for ensuring the vessel is prepared, safe, and well-maintained while delivering excellent service to guests and team members. This role demands attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to safety and hospitality. Ensure the vessel is adequately stocked with diesel, engine oil, and gear oil before each trip as a precautionary measure. Perform routine checks on the vessel's equipment and systems to ensure everything is in working order. Report any technical or mechanical issues to the Boat Captain promptly.

Assist in preparing the vessel for departures, including loading equipment and supplies as needed. Ensure the safety and protection of all passengers on board by adhering to safety protocols. Communicate politely with guests and team members, offering assistance and guidance as required. Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor, ensuring a positive experience for passengers. Assist the Boat Captain in the safe and efficient embarkation and disembarkation of guests and team members. Handle luggage or equipment with care during transfers. Maintain the cleanliness of the vessel, ensuring it is always tidy and presentable.

Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, washing, and removing debris from the deck and seating areas. Take the initiative in completing assigned tasks and assisting with additional duties to ensure smooth operations on the vessel. Support the Boat Captain and other crew members in handling unexpected situations or emergencies. QualificationsPrevious experience in marine operations or as a boat crew member is preferred. Basic knowledge of marine safety protocols and equipment is an advantage. Strong swimming skills; First Aid or CPR certification is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative when required. Physically fit and able to perform tasks in a demanding environment. Fluency in EnglishAdditional Information
