Position : Virtual Short-Term Rental Operations AssociateWork Hours (Client) : 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. SASTPay Range : $1,200 - $1,500 month depending on experience and locationLocation of Search : South AfricaWork Location : REMOTERole OverviewWe’re looking for a detail-oriented, proactive team member to oversee the daily operations of our short-term rental properties. You’ll be the backbone of our guest experience—managing bookings, coordinating check-ins/check-outs, resolving guest issues, and ensuring operations run smoothly through our property management system, Guesty.Because of the time zone difference, this role gives us extended coverage into U.S. overnight hours while still providing overlap with our U.S.-based team.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day operations in Guesty PMS (reservations, assignments, calendar updates).Respond promptly to guest inquiries, issues, and special requests during their stay.Coordinate guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a smooth experience.Oversee cleaning and turnover scheduling to maintain property readiness.Monitor listings for accuracy, competitiveness, and performance optimization.Deliver excellent customer service, resolving guest concerns quickly and professionally.(Secondary) Support leasing operations for select mid-term rentals (3-8 months) in AppFolio.RequirementsProven experience using Guesty (or another short-term rental PMS).Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).Ability to problem-solve, stay calm under pressure, and handle guest issues professionally.Comfortable working independently in a virtual, remote setup.Highly organized with strong attention to detail.Nice to HaveExperience with AppFolio or other property management software.Familiarity with dynamic pricing tools, GuestyPay, and digital lock management.
