We believe that wherever learning flourishes so do people.PositionThis is a temporary staff position at Voucher Store in Tokyo, Japan.The casual agreement has 1 year term with the option of renewal when agreed by both parties.This person will report to Director of Tokyo Office.This person will work for the daily operation for Voucher Store Japan under the instruction of the responsible person for Voucher Store.Key ResponsibilitiesVoucher Store AssistantFollow the instructions from the colleague who is responsible Voucher Store in the office and provide the required supportsFollow the designated process and complete the voucher delivery.Receive the orders in email and verify the informationEnter the information in MS Access applicationIssue the invoice for the orders by MS Access applicationIssue the quotation if requiredConfirm the payment (bank transfer, credit card, on-credit)Create the data for approval and issue the voucher by internal systemDeliver the vouchers by using MS Access applicationTake the backup data and save it appropriatelyProfessionally respond to the inquiries about vouchers by email or phone callReceive the calls for credit card payment and manage the information appropriatelyProvide/Receive double check on the voucher operation process when requiredCreate and submit the required voucher reports on timeComply to PMS and ISO during the voucher operation procedureCommunicate with the internal stakeholders to resolve any issues or to complete the tasks in Japanese and English as requiredOther support workProvide support to the Sales Team for backend tasks when ordered by the reporting managerAll other associated tasksIdeal candidates for this position are those who;Bachelor's DegreeHave customer facing experience and can communicate via phone and email without any inconvenience in Japanese.Communicate in native Japanese. Required communicating internally in English in writing & reading as well.Have basic understanding of MS Office Applications. Experience of using MS Access application is a strong plus.Have experience and understanding of both International and Japanese work culturesCan perform work in accordance to both the company and team policiesIs positive, a team-player, fluid communicator, respectful and has the “can-do” attitude.Has a professional mindset/attitude/accountability towards workCan adhere to unobtrusive manner that is appropriate to working professionalsDesirable Experience And QualificationsExperience in a company with Privacy Mark/ISO management is preferred but not mandatory.Basic experience in accounting is preferred but not required.B2B or B2C client/customer facing experience required.Experience of the order processing and sales operation required.Working ArrangementsWorking hours per day minimum from 9am to 1pm (4 hours a day)Working days per week Monday thru FridayPaid by worked hoursWork at Tokyo office.Remote work is available.Annual contact with renewal optionWho We AreAt Pearson, our purpose is simple: to help people realize the life they imagine through learning.
