Frazer Jones are delighted to be retained by a high-performing, fast-paced Private Equity firm who are seeking a VP People to lead and optimize its people operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in structured environments and is passionate about building systems that drive clarity, consistency, and impact across the employee lifecycle.You’ll be responsible for ensuring operational excellence in recruiting, onboarding, performance management, compensation, HR systems, and compliance. The role reports to the Founder overseeing both investment and people functions and includes access to administrative support.This is a strategic and hands-on position where your work will directly influence the organisation’s ability to attract, retain, and empower top talent.Key ResponsibilitiesRecruiting Operations: Own ATS management, recruiter coordination, and pipeline tracking to streamline hiring and support decision-making.Performance Management: Run quarterly review cycles with clear communications and efficient execution.HR Systems: Optimize the HRIS to automate workflows and generate actionable insights.Onboarding: Implement scalable onboarding programs that ensure alignment and productivity from day one.Employee Handbook: Redesign internal documentation into an engaging, accessible format.Compensation & Leveling: Lead structured, data-driven compensation reviews using market benchmarks.People Ops & Compliance: Manage ongoing operations across compliance, reporting, employee relations, and L&D.Ideal Candidate Profile5–7 years’ experience in People Operations within high-performance environments (e.g., investment firms, consulting, tech, or PE/VC-backed companies).Recruiting operations expertise, including ATS management and KPI tracking.Hands-on systems experience with HRIS, ATS, and workflow tools .Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering cross-functional initiatives.Analytical mindset, comfortable with Excel and people data, and able to communicate insights clearly to leadership.
