Warehouse Attendant - Facey Commodity Limited

The Warehouse Attendant is responsible for assisting with the daily operations and management of the warehouse, ensuring that all tasks related to the storage, inventory management, and shipment of products are carried out efficiently and safely. This role involves a hands-on approach to support the overall functionality of the warehouse operations.Main Duties and Responsibilities: Receive and inspect incoming shipments to verify accuracy and quality of products, reporting any discrepancies promptly Accurately store products in designated areas within the warehouse, ensuring efficiency and compliance with safety standardsMaintain an organized and clean work environment to facilitate the smooth operation daily activitiesPick and pack items for outgoing shipments, ensuring that all orders are correct and processed in a timely mannerAssist in conducting regular inventory counts and audits to ensure stock accuracy and update records as neededUtilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and movements, ensuring proper documentation is maintainedAssist in loading and unloading delivery trucks, utilizing appropriate equipment and safety protocolsCollaborate with team members to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively and to support overall team goalsReport any equipment malfunctions and safety hazards to the Warehouse Supervisor immediatelyPerform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the warehouseRequirementsSchool Leaving Certificate or its equivalentPrevious experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not mandatorySkills and Abilities:Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control processesAbility to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (certification preferred)Strong attention to detail and accuracyEffective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environmentAbility to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying items up to 50 poundsBenefitsHealth InsuranceLife InsurancePension Lunch SubsidyOthers
