Warehouse Logistics Manager

Role OverviewTo professionalise and lead warehousing and logistics function across Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru, driving standardisation, optimisation, and team capability.As the company’s in-house logistics and warehousing expert, to bring structure, system discipline, and continuous improvement to strengthen operations across multi-brand, multi-location, and multi-regional fronts — working closely with the Executive Director to build a scalable, high-performance foundation for growth.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & StandardisationOversee all warehousing and logistics operations for KL and JB.Unify SOPs, workflows, and team structures across both locations to ensure standard performance and accountability.Establish clear operating benchmarks for storage, handling, dispatch, and returns.System Implementation & Automation (WMS)Lead the implementation, rollout, and optimisation of the newly signed Warehouse Management System (WMS).Train both KL and JB teams on system usage, ensuring adoption and compliance.Identify opportunities for automation and data-driven decision making using WMS insights (e.g. stock movement, route planning, order fulfilment).Process Optimisation & Cost EfficiencyConduct a full review of existing warehouse processes and logistics flows.Introduce best practices in space utilisation, inventory control, and dispatch scheduling.Explore selective outsourcing (3PL) for specific functions — e.g. cold-chain or long-haul transport — while maintaining core in-house control.Implement measurable KPIs (delivery accuracy, turnaround time, cost per delivery, etc.) and continuously track improvement.Route & Fleet OptimisationStreamline route planning and delivery scheduling across brands.Optimise truck deployment, reduce idle time, and improve cross-location coordination.Team DevelopmentLead and upskill the ~40-pax operations team including warehouse staff and drivers.Build leadership bench strength for both sites and drive accountability through clear reporting lines.RequirementsExperience in logistics and warehouse operations; ideally from F&B, FMCG, or retail supply chain backgrounds.Proven record in setting up or scaling warehouse systems and SOPs.Hands-on experience with WMS implementation and cross-site standardisation.Skilled in route optimisation, inventory accuracy, and cost control.Strong leadership presence — able to coach, stabilise, and professionalise the team.
