About the Company:Our client is a Hungarian-owned manufacturer of cosmetic, household, and hygiene chemical products, headquartered in Szeged, Hungary. Established in 1957, the company develops and produces a wide range of cosmetics, disinfectants, and cleaning agents for both branded and private-label customers in Hungary and across Europe.The organisation operates one of Hungary’s largest production and packaging facilities in its sector and recently commissioned a new semi-automated warehouse integrating WMS and ERP systems to improve logistics efficiency and customer service.Certified to ISO 9001 and GMP (ISO 22716) standards, the company places strong emphasis on product quality, process safety, and sustainable operations, supplying retail chains, industrial clients, and healthcare providers throughout the region.Job Functions / Responsibilities:Operational LeadershipLead daily warehouse operations including inbound, storage, order picking, commissioning, and outbound logistics.Supervise and schedule warehouse personnel (drivers, forklift operators, pickers).Ensure consistent operational flow to support customer deliveries for major retail accounts (Rossmann, Lidl, Tesco, Auchan).System & Process ManagementOperate and optimise the semi-automated warehouse system, including integration between WMS, ERP, and automated forklifts.Monitor system performance; coordinate improvements and minor troubleshooting.Ensure accurate and timely data entry for inventory, shipments, and stock movements.Performance & ComplianceManage key KPIs: on-time in full (OTIF), inventory accuracy, damage reduction, cost efficiency, and utilisation.Uphold warehouse safety, housekeeping (5S), and regulatory compliance standards.Train and coach warehouse personnel; standardise SOPs and visual management.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Procurement, Production, and Customer Service to align supply, storage, and dispatch priorities.Communicate regularly with logistics partners (transporters and 3PLs) to optimise dispatch schedules.Profile Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, buying, or supply chain coordination.Knowledge of SAP, Ariba, or similar ERP systems preferred.Detail-oriented with strong Excel/reporting skills.Exposure to the chemical or manufacturing sector beneficial.Fluent Hungarian; conversational English preferred.
