As a Warehouse Packing & Dispatch Storeperson, you will play a critical role in ensuring efficient operations within our warehouse. You will report directly to the Warehouse Supervisor and maintain communication with various departments including the Director and COO Operations & Finance, as well as the Christchurch Manufacturing Team and Sales Team. Your responsibilities will encompass managing stock control, overseeing the packing and dispatch of goods, and contributing to the production of quality Armor Joint Systems. Duties:Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy work area.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.Organize and identify stock in the warehouse effectively.Collaborate with supervisors and coworkers.Report equipment maintenance needs promptly.Prepare materials for manufacturing orders efficiently.Pick and pack goods for timely dispatch.Conduct regular stock takes and monitor inventory levels. Skills and Experience:Hold a current forklift operator's certificate.Possess a valid driver's license.Demonstrated experience in warehouse operations.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Good communication skills for liaising across teams.Prior experience in manufacturing or dispatch roles is preferred.Familiarity with health and safety standards in a warehouse setting.
