Job Description

Overview: Our client is one of the leading distribution organizations in Antigua who have been established for many years and have a solid customer base across multiple market sectors. Due to growth, they are seeking to recruit a candidate with proven experience to join the management team. Duties & Responsibilities: • Supervising and mentoring warehouse staff, providing guidance and direction. • Ensuring staff are properly trained on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and inventory management systems. • Monitoring staff performance, providing feedback, and addressing any performance issues.

• Ensuring the right amount of stock is available to meet customer demand at all times while minimizing overstock or shortages. • Implementing and maintaining inventory management systems, including cycle counts on a weekly basis and stock taking on a monthly basis• Generating reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant data. • Review stock and sales report on a weekly basis and determine action plans.

• Overseeing the receipt of goods, ensuring proper storage and organization within the warehouse and ensuring that they are entered in the system in a timely manner and are available for sale• Managing the process of picking, packing, and shipping orders accurately and efficiently and liaising with the cashier and sales team as required to ensure 98% accuracy. • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols and procedures. • Ensuring proper maintenance and use of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and other machinery. • Conducts weekly vehicle inspections.

• Maintains vehicle maintenance log/schedule and makes the necessary arrangements to have all company vehicles serviced, cleaned and repaired. • Ensures the compound is kept tidy at all times. • General coordination, maintenance & servicing of the plant and compound, including but not limited to: generator, fire extinguishers, A/C units. • Determines and implements health and safety protocols. • Ensures staff are following health and safety procedures. • Cross-functional Collaboration: Working with other departments, such as sales, purchasing, and logistics, to optimize inventory management and warehouse operations. • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. • Compliance:

Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards. Requirements• Bachelors Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field. • Five years’ management experience, preferably in a warehousing environment. • Strong reporting skills. • Competent with Warehousing/Logistics Software platforms. • Proficient with MS-Office. • Clean driving license.
