Job Title: Water Resources & Environmental EngineerLocation: Lagos / Project Sites (Nationwide)Employment Type: Full-TimeAbout The RoleWe are hiring for a skilled Water Resources & Environmental Engineer with strong competencies in Civil 3D, road design, hydrology/hydraulics, and environmental assessment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting infrastructure projects by conducting water resources analyses, designing drainage systems, and ensuring environmental compliance across project sites. A background in surveying or engineering design will be considered an added advantage.Key Responsibilities Conduct hydrological and hydraulic analyses for road, bridge, and infrastructure projects. Design drainage systems, stormwater management structures, culverts, and erosion control solutions. Utilize Civil 3D or other road design software to prepare engineering drawings and models. Perform site assessments to evaluate water flow, soil characteristics, and environmental conditions. Support environmental impact assessments (EIA), mitigation planning, and compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and project managers to ensure integration of water resources components into overall project designs. Review and interpret topographic and geotechnical data to support alignments, road design, and watercourse protection. Prepare technical reports, drawings, models, and documentation for regulatory approvals. Provide on-site technical support during construction to ensure adherence to design and environmental specifications. Monitor environmental impact controls, including sedimentation, runoff, and pollution prevention measures.Qualifications And Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Water Resources Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. 3–5 years’ experience in water resources, environmental engineering, or road drainage design. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (mandatory). Experience in hydrological and hydraulic modelling software (HEC-RAS, HECHMS, EPA SWMM, etc.) is an added advantage. Background in surveying engineering is a plus. Strong understanding of stormwater design, erosion control, and environmental regulations in Nigeria. Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in field and office environments.
