Reporting directly to the UX & Web Design Manager, the Web Designer will be responsible for creating an inspiring digital brand experience through the development of content and graphic design that are industry-leading and relevant to the marketplace. Most importantly, the Web Designer develops a unique user experience that can help us engage with our customers and drive sales. You would be a part of an incredible team that is dictating the digital vision of the Roots brand worldwide.Key Responsibilities → How You’ll Make An ImpactDeveloping interactive designs for campaign launches on roots.com that reflect current trends in the marketplace that support commerceEnsuring designs meet our digital visual style standard that represents the brand but also is adapted for its end digital applicationInterpreting larger campaigns into the digital realm and create videos, landing pages, banners, and other pieces of creative that drive revenue onlineActively seeking to reinvent and push the brand/design forward, in a way that is consistent, but innovativeDeveloping content for roots.com to help drive bottom line sales and increase conversion ratesKeeping the site user-friendly, with best accessibility practicesKeeping promotional content up-to-date and correct on roots.comEnsuring the visual look and standards of Roots are maintained and presented online in a unified and consistent mannerWorking with external and internal departments to ensure the needs of the business are met in a timely fashionManaging expectations and complete multiple tasks within tight deadlines without affecting qualityStudy the competitive marketplace and overall trends to ensure creative is on trend and industry leadingQualifications & Experience → The Skills You Bring2-4 years related experience in a Web Design or equivalent roleDiploma or degree course completion in web design, graphic design or similarA Self-Starter. You aren't afraid to spearhead projects, and present new ideasExpert in FigmaProficient in Adobe Creative Suite, with a focus on Photoshop, Illustrator and After EffectsUnderstands and values the importance of clean file archiving and readable codingWorking knowledge of HTML and CSSExperience conducting and analyzing A/B tests to inform design decisions and optimize user experienceExperience collaborating with developers, copywriters and other designersExcellent time management and communication skillsExperience working with and building corporate brand guidelinesWell-versed in design techniques and tool shortcutsLet us know about any of your bonus creative skills like, animation, iconography, photography, videography, writing, etc. If you have a background in UX/UI design, we’d love to hear about it.
