$60,000 – $70,000 per yearTailgunner is a digital marketing agency that offers a wide range of services to clients all around New Zealand and Australia, including websites, social media, Google Ads, email marketing and so much more.We're growing and on the lookout for a new web developer/designer to join our team! You will be assisting with website builds, implementing new design features, and updating websites based on client requests. You will be working closely with our senior developer and assisting with all aspects of website development and design.This is a great opportunity to join an established digital marketing company for someone who possesses website design & development skills and great attention to detail. You'll be able to work well in a technical environment and help us deliver website projects in a timely manner.Your responsibilities will include:Delivering a wide variety of digital projects from concept to launch. These projects can range from full website build, design tweaks or innovative product concepts.Assisting with the development and maintenance of backend and front-end applications.Brainstorming new tech applications such as digital storage and mobile technology.Collaborating with the team to implement new web features.Using user feedback to identify and correct problems with a client's website.Position requirements:Solid understanding of UX, web design and development principles.A desire to learn and improve and to gain new skills and knowledge.Some experience with the WordPress content management system.Experience using other content management systems (Shopify, SquareSpace etc.) would be ideal.Goal-orientated and deadline-driven.An appreciation for good design.BenefitsA friendly team environmentWork from home 1 day per weekSnacks, kombucha, Red Bull and chocolateIf this sounds like your type of work, we’d love to hear from you.
