Web Developer (Frontend)

JOB DESCRIPTION:This is a web development position in which you will be joining a team of engineers to develop web applications that supports gamers globally. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality features and user experiences. You’ll be involved in the full software development lifecycle and contribute to both technical implementation and product ideation.Design, develop, and maintain scalable and performant web applicationsTranslate wireframes and mockups into responsive, accessible UI componentsCollaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure consistent design languageParticipate in requirement gathering, scope definition, and sprint planningWrite clean, maintainable, and testable code using modern frontend frameworksDevelop and maintain unit tests to ensure code reliability and prevent regressionsParticipate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practicesSupport CI/CD workflows and deployment processesStay current with emerging technologies and propose improvements where relevantREQUIREMENTS:Required QualificationsProficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend design fundamentalsHands-on experience with Vue.js (2 or 3) and component-based architectureExperience with responsive design and mobile-first developmentFamiliarity with CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind, Bootstrap) and pre-processors (SASS/LESS)Familiar with build tools like Vite or WebpackFamiliar with frontend testing frameworks such as Vitest or PlaywrightExperience writing unit tests for frontend components and business logicUnderstanding of Git, version control workflows, and CI/CD pipelinesBasic knowledge of SEO best practicesAble to work independently and collaboratively in a small, agile teamStrong communication skills in English and MandarinBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fieldBonus SkillsExperience with Nuxt.js frameworkBackground in e-commerce or payment systemsFamiliarity with Google Analytics and Google Tag ManagerUnderstanding of Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) standards
