Title: Web Developer (Next.js)The Web Developer (Next.js) will play a key role in developing and maintaining customer-facing web applications using Next.js. This position requires a strong technical foundation in modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly Next.js and React, and a commitment to following industry best practices. The developer will work closely with the Web Developer Team Lead ensuring high-quality code and optimal application performance in a hybrid work environment.Key ResponsibilitiesFeature Development & ImplementationDevelop and implement new features using Next.js while adhering to established coding standards..Code Quality & ComplianceWrite clean, maintainable code and ensure all work meets industry best practices as reviewed by the Team Lead.Performance OptimizationOptimize web application performance by ensuring efficient code, fast load times, and responsive design.Agile Collaboration & CommunicationActively participate in agile ceremonies, collaborate with team members, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Job QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Relevant technical certifications are a plus.Minimum of 5 years of experience in web development, with a strong focus on modern JavaScript frameworks (Next.js and React).Demonstrated experience in building scalable, high-performance web applications.Experience working in agile teams.Must be willing to work in Ortigas, Pasig (Hybrid Work Setup).Jollibee Foods Corporation is the hiring entity for this requisition.
