Network Monitoring System Administrator

Webbing is looking for a Network Monitoring System Administrator to take ownership, manage and maintain Webbing’s existing and new monitoring solutions. Main responsibilities:

Evaluate and improve Webbing existing monitoring setupProactively look for and evaluate new Monitoring systems and solutions to improve existing monitoring capabilities within WebbingTake responsibility of currently ongoing implementation of new centralized monitoring and alarming system developmentExisting Monitoring system administration and configurationNew network element and solution implementation and configuration within monitoring systemsAlarm definition and KPI definition and visibility setup based on Webbing business needsNew and existing monitoring element handover organization to Webbing NOCInternal system documentation creation as well as involvement in team monitoring procedure creation3000 - 3600 before tax Requirements:

Previous experience working with and configuration of mobile and IP network monitoringGood understanding of Mobile Network management protocols, call flows and proceduresFamiliar with network management protocols (SNMP, MQTT)Familiar with IP and cellular network protocolsGeneral understanding of DBABasic understanding and experience with Linux Redhat or Linux CentOSAbility to perform data queries, validation, and basic troubleshooting using SQLVery good English both spoken and written;Strong personal drive and great desire for self-learning;Interest in mobile technologies, IoT and technologies in general;Accuracy and high sense of responsibility;Ability to work in a global company environmentPrevious experience working with monitoring systems provided by Ploystar, Paessler and IBM will be considered advantagePrevious experience working with IBM SANO/SevOne monitoring implementation and administration will be considered advantageAbility to work on-call/overtime to ensure continuous uptime for the relevant administered systemsAbout Webbing:
