Specializing in Korean webtoons and Japanese mangas.Role DescriptionThe Webtoon Artist will be responsible for creating engaging, high-quality illustrations and visual panels for webtoon productions. Day-to-day tasks include conceptualizing and sketching story ideas, creating storyboards, illustrating episodic panels, and collaborating with writers and editors to ensure storytelling aligns with the desired vision. Additionally, the artist will refine artwork based on feedback and maintain tight deadlines for episode releases. This is a full-time role based in Nairobi County, Kenya.QualificationsProficiency in digital illustration and drawing tools (Clip Studio Paint, Photoshop).Strong skills in storytelling, character design, and visual narrative.Experience in sketching, coloring, and creating storyboards for visual media.Good understanding of color theory, composition, and anatomy for creating appealing art.Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate ideas clearly with a creative team.Time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.A portfolio showcasing previous illustration work, preferably related to comics or webtoons.Knowledge of webtoon formatting and familiarity with trends in digital comics is a plus.
