As a Personal Support Worker with WeeCare, you will do more than provide medical care according to each client’s care plan. You will offer peace of mind, comfort, and become a trusted extension of the client’s family. PositionPart-time Personal Support Worker in Etobicoke, ON every other Saturday & Sunday 14: 00-19: 00. Please note: If you cannot commit to the weekly schedule, we will not be able to accept your application.

General Duties (specific duties may vary based on individual client needs)Enteral feed supportMaintain child's records and required documentationAssist the child with personal care, hygiene, and activities of daily livingObserve and report on changes in child's condition to guardian and WeeCareAssist with ambulation, mobilization, transferring, and adaptive aidsDemonstrate understanding of child’s needs and maximize abilitiesProvide cognitive, social, emotional, and psychological support to the child/parent/guardianRespond to child/parent/guardian concerns and ensure appropriate action is takenAssist in maintaining a safe and cleanly environment, including child’s equipment and belongingsNotify supervisor of any concerns impacting child’s safety, incidents, and accidentsComplete all other tasks as assignedRequirementsGraduate of a certified Personal Support Worker programExperience working with pediatricsCurrent BLS certificationVulnerable Sector Check within the past 6 monthsScheduleEvery other Saturday & Sunday14:
