Position: WelderDuration: Contract to HireLocation: Richmond, VA 23224Shift: 1st ShiftPay Rate: $18.00 - $21.00A rapidly growing miscellaneous metals fabrication and installation company is seeking experienced Welder/Grinders for their Richmond, VA shop.Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Weld/Grind stairs, rails, and misc. metalsMIG WeldingOperating an overhead craneTesting and inspecting welded surfaces and structures to identify flawsRequired Qualifications:Experience with MIG weldingExperience using a variety of welding equipment and proceduresAbility to read and interpret technical documents and drawingsExcellent time-management skills with the ability to meet fast-paced project demandsAbility to use basic math and geometryAbility to work well under pressure in fast-paced work environmentHave a positive attitude with a dependable self-driven work ethicPreferred Qualifications:Professional Welding CertificationExperience with stringers for stairs and/or porchesExperience working with Misc MetalsSubject to a pre-employment drug test and/or background check.Ready to Apply?If you're interested in this opportunity, please submit your application through this posting.
