Contribute significantly to maintaining an unparalleled commitment to technical excellence and zero-defect quality in all welding activities.🎯 What You'll DoInspection & Quality Control: Perform comprehensive visual welding inspections (IWP, CWI) at various stages of fabrication and construction, from material receipt to final weld completion, across substations, SWRO, power plants, and oil & gas facilities.Procedural Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), Welder Qualification Tests (WQT), and other project-specific welding documents.Defect Identification & Reporting: Identify, analyze, and document welding defects, discontinuities, and non-conformances according to relevant codes and standards. Recommend corrective actions.Material Verification: Verify material traceability, proper storage, and correct usage of welding consumables and base materials.Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed inspection reports, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), quality control logs, and other technical documentation with accuracy and professionalism.Witnessing & Monitoring: Witness welder qualification tests, procedure qualification tests, and monitor welding activities to ensure they are carried out according to approved procedures.Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Coordination: Coordinate and review NDT activities such as Radiographic Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), interpreting results against acceptance criteria.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, fabrication teams, quality control personnel, clients, and third-party inspectors to ensure integrated project delivery and successful project completion.🧑‍💻 What We're Looking ForExtensive Experience: 4-6 years of progressive hands-on experience in welding inspection within the construction, power generation, SWRO, or oil & gas sectors.Certification: Certified Welding Inspector (CSWIP 3.1 or 3.2).
