The Wordpress Theme Builder Developer will be responsible for back-end web development, front-end development, responsive web design, and overall web development tasks.Key responsibilities of a WordPress theme builder developer:Designing and implementing custom WordPress themes: This includes translating design mockups (e.g., from PSD or Adobe Ilustrator) into functional and responsive WordPress themes.Coding and customization: Proficiency in core web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP is essential for building and modifying themes.Optimization: Ensuring themes are optimized for performance (speed), search engines (SEO), and mobile responsiveness across various devices.Plugin integration and customization: Integrating and customizing plugins to extend WordPress functionality and meet specific project requirements.Troubleshooting and debugging: Identifying and resolving issues related to theme or plugin conflicts and ensuring smooth website operation.Staying updated: Keeping abreast of the latest WordPress trends, best practices, security updates, and new tools or technologies within the WordPress ecosystem.Collaboration and communication: Working effectively with design teams, clients, and other developers to ensure project success.Required skills and qualifications typically include:Proven experience in developing responsive WordPress themes.Strong command of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Deep understanding of the WordPress Codex and theme hierarchy.Familiarity with popular WordPress tools and page builders like Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, Gutenberg, or Advanced Custom Fields.Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Able to comply with Google Page Speed recommendations
