Job Description

Sales Executive (Equipment & Rentals)Department:  Sales Reports To:  Sales Manager Position OverviewThis role is focused on driving revenue growth through the sale and rental of industrial equipment, with an emphasis on material handling solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, building lasting client relationships, preparing commercial proposals, and closing sales. This position requires collaboration with internal teams including service, parts, and administration to ensure a seamless customer experience.

 Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and pursue new business leads through research, cold outreach, and client visitsPromote and sell material handling equipment and rental packagesPrepare and present quotations, proposals, and product demonstrationsBuild and maintain strong client relationships with a focus on long-term satisfactionConsistently meet or exceed defined sales targetsMaintain detailed records of interactions, sales opportunities, and pipeline data in the CRM systemLiaise with technical and administrative teams to ensure prompt service and deliveryMonitor market trends and provide competitive insightsParticipate in client engagement events, trade shows, and brand activations Experience & Skills RequiredMinimum 3 years of experience in business-to-business (B2B) salesProven ability to meet or exceed sales targetsStrong sales acumen with effective negotiation and closing skillsExperience in industrial, automotive, or construction-related sectors is an assetProficiency in Microsoft Office applications; CRM experience is advantageousMust possess a valid driver’s license and be open to local travel Key CompetenciesGoal-oriented and self-drivenStrong interpersonal and client service skillsSolution-focused with sound judgmentOrganized and able to manage multiple priorities effectivelyExcellent verbal and written communication Performance IndicatorsAchievement of sales revenue and volume targetsGrowth and retention of client accountsClient satisfaction scores and feedbackTimely and accurate reporting and documentation
