Workamper (2026 Season)

Join the team at Hersheypark Camping Resort, campground located a few miles down the road from Hersheypark amusement park that features log and deluxe cabins, tent sites, and partial and full-hookup sites.This position is responsible for the cleaning of all areas of the Hersheypark Camping Resort, primarily focusing on bathhouses, cabins, and interior/exterior public spaces. Additionally, responsibilities may include picking up trash, cleaning fire pits and other miscellaneous tasks. As a Part-Time Team Member, you will enjoy sweet perks like FREE admission and parking to Hersheypark, discounts on food & shopping, and more as soon as you receive your Employee ID!Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):Detailed cleaning of bathhouses, cabins and interior/exterior public spaces*Ability to operate cleaning equipment and chemicalsPicking up trash around cabins and sites Cleaning fire pits Doing dishes and laundryProvide guest site escort as needed by front desk team Miscellaneous tasks such as power washing and line painting, etc.Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor  Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years of age or older on the date of applyingMust have a valid driver's licenseKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Must have the ability to drive a golf cart and company vehicles as neededGeneral knowledge of housekeeping, cleaning protocols, and guest relationsMust have high attention to detail and be well organized.Must be friendly, upbeat, work well with other employees, and be able to interact with guests in a fast-paced environmentMust be able to multitask while prioritizing job tasks and assignmentsMust have the ability to comprehend instructions (verbal, demonstrated, and/or written) and retain informationJob Demands:Employees are subject to a variety of weather conditions, including but not limited to: extreme heat, sun exposure, cold, and inclement weather. Work is almost exclusively outdoors. Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays Physical requirements include ability to stand (for up to five hours at a time), walk, bend at the waist and knees and have repeated manual dexterity, climb ladders, reach above shoulder level and the ability to push, pull, and lift up to sixty (60) pounds without assistanceEmployee must provide proper footwear (closed toe shoe) Ability to safely use chemicals in and around the workplace meeting OSHA standardsAbility to operate hand held/ small tools, power equipment, and cleaning equipmentWorkampers receive an hourly wage plus a Full Hook Up Site w/ 50 AMP electrical service, water, sewer, cable & WiFi, and other company perks.
