Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:As a Workday Business Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in our Workday Implementation, bridging business needs with technical solutions—think of it as orchestrating a seamless flow between P&C, Finance, and Technology. You’ll collaborate with diverse, multicultural teams to configure, optimize, and support Workday modules, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals. Using tools like Jira for tracking, you’ll drive process improvements that enhance efficiency and compliance.This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. We define business cases, prioritize projects, map dependencies and deliver solutions that advance our technology roadmap. From P&C to Payroll to Legal, we empower the organization with robust, innovative tools.If you were the Workday Business Analyst now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:Gathering and documenting business requirements from P&C, Finance, and Technology stakeholders, translating them into Workday configurationsConfiguring and optimizing Workday modules, such as HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, and Security to meet business needsDeveloping custom reports, dashboards, and integrations using Workday tools like EIB, calculated fields, and Workday StudioCoordinating and executing testing phases to ensure flawless enhancements and releasesTroubleshooting issues, providing production support, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve challenges quicklyCreating and maintaining detailed documentation, including process models, functional specs, and user guides, for clarity and complianceAdvising on Workday best practices and ensuring adherence to organizational and security standardsSupporting change management by preparing training materials and facilitating user adoption across teamsHere are some of the things you could be working on in the future:Partnering with Technology and business units to deliver cross-functional Workday enhancementsContributing to the evolution of our Workday roadmap, aligning with strategic business prioritiesSolving complex P&C and Finance challenges through innovative Workday configurationsStreamlining processes by automating repetitive tasks and reducing inefficienciesCollaborating with global teams on multicultural projects, enhancing system accessibility for diverse stakeholdersAre you our next Workday Business Analyst?You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Human Resources, or have equivalent Business Analysis work experienceYou have 3+ years of hands-on Workday experience, specializing in configuration and reporting for modules like HCM, Payroll, or BenefitsYou have strong understanding P&C, Payroll, and Finance processes; knowledge of Supply Chain management is a plusYou have professional experience with Workday integrations (EIB, Workday Studio) is a mustYou are skilled in analytical thinking, breaking down complex problems into actionable solutionsYou possess strong communication skills and can simplify technical details for non-technical stakeholdersYou have proven experience driving all Business Analysis work, such as requirements gathering, writing user stories, process modelling, etc. And your documentation write-ups are clear and conciseYou have experience with BPMN standards to develop complex, integrated process models that are cross-functional and cross-departmental to support understanding of the business problem or opportunityYou have basic project management skills and are comfortable managing timelines and deliverablesYou’re adaptable, thriving in both independent and collaborative, team-oriented settingsYou have a continuous improvement mindset, eager to learn and drive organizational growthEqual OpportunityArc’teryx is committed to actively creating and fostering a culture of inclusivity where voices are heard, people are seen, and values are respected. Always. Commit. We set bold objectives and see them through. A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$82,000 - CAD$102,000 at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training. The upper end of the range is typically reserved for candidates with demonstrated expertise that is above job requirements or who bring exceptional directly transferable experience.Please note that the range details above reflect the base pay only and does not include benefits that we offer.
