Our talent specialists provide recruitment services and customized solutions to find quality candidates.Our member is looking for a Working Construction Foreman to join their team in Cambridge, ON. A Construction Foreman works at our construction projects aiding with a wide variety of construction-related tasks.What you will be doing:Performing Construction related tasks such as: placing and securing rebar, layout and setting of anchor bolts/plates, forming, pouring, and finishing concrete, rough carpentry, hollow metal frames, doors and hardware, demolition, plywood sheathing, parapet framing and sheathing, Blueskin and 3m membrane applications, framing, fire stopping applications, patching drywall, etc.Operating various equipment, machinery, and tools efficiently and safely to complete scope of workOther duties as assigned.What you will offer:Excellent work attitude and willing to be part of the team.Self motivatedPerfect attendanceWillingness to learn new skills.Care and pride in the maintenance and appearance of equipment.What we offer:Salary: $35-$40/hrCompany paid group benefits.Steady hours and year-round workAdvancement opportunitiesPickup truck (standard issue for all field employees with over 5 years experience)Company cell phone (standard issue for all field employees)Requirements:3 – 5 years experience as a working foremanBackground in construction trade necessary.Concrete pouring and finishing experience an asset.Excavation and backfill operations experience an asset.Heavy equipment operation an assetAbility to lift up to 50lbs on occasionPlease note, only qualified candidates will be contacted.
