Our expertise spans full-service construction and development management, including land assessment, architectural design, engineering, permitting, project management, on-site construction, and warranty services.We are seeking an experienced Multi-Family Working Foreman with strong carpentry skills to perform tasks that require physical effort. Critical thinking abilities to support the Site Superintendent on challenging projects in Calgary.  You should be a dedicated team player, able to work in a fast-paced, environment while helping to build a positive and productive team culture.Working at BDL means collaborating with a dedicated team of construction and development experts while accessing diverse opportunities for professional growth. BDL offers competitive compensation and benefits package for this position. What We’re Looking For:5 years' experience multi-family wood frame construction. Backed by strong knowledge of construction methods and regulationsValid Driver's licence and Certification to operate applicable equipment Knowledgeable with various types of hand tools & equipment, including tasks such as lifting heavy objects, operating machinery, performing manual labor-intensive activities.Possesses strong leadership and interpersonal skills, proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Enforces safety regulations & ensures that all workers are equipped with the necessary PPE.Collaborate with the Site Superintendent to ensure project runs smoothly.Coordinate construction activities on-site, including directing BDL labour on specific scopes to maintain project construction schedules.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to construction standards.Implement and enforce environmental and safety regulations on-site.Resolve conflicts or issues that arise during construction, escalating as necessary.Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation and reports.What We Offer:Annual Salary: Up to $80,000 (based on experience)Benefits package3 Weeks of vacationAdditional career opportunities in Northern Canada Ready to Join Us?Apply now and become part of a team that is shaping the future of multi-family development in Canada.
