Your missionSystematically test CAALA workflows across CAALA Web and plugins (Rhino3D, SketchUp, Revit, Archicad) to ensure stability and usability.Identify, document, and verify bugs, inconsistencies, and edge cases in the CAALA software, working closely with the development team on resolutions.Contribute to the design and development of new features by providing feedback on usability, testability, and overall product quality.Support development team in integrating and validating new calculation processes for building LCA and energy performance, including checking correctness of results and boundary conditions.Support the agile development process (e.g., sprint planning, refinement, and reviews) by providing test input and detailed contexts on bugs / test resultsYour profileYou are currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Computer Science, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Environmental Design or a related field – these backgrounds are a great fit for the role.Initial understanding of building energy efficiency and/or life cycle assessment (LCA) calculations, or strong motivation to learn these topics.First experience with BIM tools such as Revit or Archicad, and ideally with 3D modeling software like Rhino3D or SketchUp.Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming (e.g. Python, C#, Java) and an interest in writing simple scripts or test automations.Structured, reliable, and independent way of working, with a strong willingness to learn and grow.You don’t need to tick every box – if you’re excited about Building LCA and energy simulation, we’re happy to teach you the skills you’re missing.Why us?Join a rapidly growing, award-winning prop-tech company shaping the future of sustainable buildings.Work at the heart of sustainability, building LCA and energy performance in the construction industry.Enjoy a friendly, supportive work environment with mentorship and plenty of opportunities to grow.Student employment with up to 20 hours per week and flexible working hours that fit your study schedule.We actively support you in shaping and developing your career in the direction that excites you most.Competitive compensation and participation in Benefitsy benefits, adjusted to your contractual hours.Regular team events throughout the year (summer party, winter party, plus overnight trips to mountain huts).Book club, cycling group and room for new initiatives – bring your interests, we’re happy to make space for them.About UsCAALA GmbH is an established, multi-award-winning PropTech based in Munich.
