Working Student (m/f/x) Engineering & Testing

Your TasksAs part of our motivated project team, you will gain hands-on experience in developing and testing solar products for commercial vehicles, actively contributing to prototypes, test setups, vehicle-integrated components, and taking responsibility for our in-house material testing. Your responsibilities will include:Design CAD models of mechanical parts using CATIA V5Create complete system assemblies and generate detailed assembly drawingsConduct mechanical and thermomechanical tests such as peel, tensile and shear adhesion strength tests on our in-house pull tester machineAnalyze test results, document findings, and present them to the wider teamSupport the project engineering team with component research, design concept documentation, and project planning (e.g., taking meeting minutes)Assist in the creation and maintenance of system wiring diagramsCollaborate with project engineers on prototype builds, test setups, and design improvements, bringing your ideas into real projectsOur RequirementsYou are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Material Science, Renewable Energies, or a related field, and are at least in your 4th semesterYou have a strong engineering background and a genuine interest in mechanical engineering and material science, ideally with a focus on polymersYou are analytical, solution-oriented, and enjoy working independently, while also being ready to get hands-onYou bring advanced CAD skills in CATIA V5 (Assembly, Part Design, Drafting, GSD)You are flexible and ready to take on a variety of tasks, even if they are new or outside your direct responsibilitiesYou are required to be predominantly on-site in our Munich office.
