Job TitleWorkplace Strategy ConsultantJob Description SummaryWe are seeking an experienced consultant with a global understanding of the Real Estate business - investor and occupier side. The ideal candidate will have experience in workplace strategy and change management, but also a broad and integrated view of real estate strategy — someone who understands not only how workplaces function, but also how buildings fit into wider urban, organizational, and portfolio contexts.This role sits at the intersection of strategic workplace design, real estate decision-making, and organizational change. You’ll be instrumental in helping clients or internal stakeholders rethink how space supports performance, value, and transformation — across individual assets and broader portfolios.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Strategic Workplace PlanningLead workplace strategy projects from beginning to endConduct layout assessments and space utilization studiesFacilitate interviews, workshops, decision-making sessions, and strategy reviews.Develop tailored workplace solutions that align with organizational goalsTranslate insights (data analysis) into actionable workplace scenarios and transformation roadmaps to support recommendationsReal Estate StrategyProvide strategic input into asset positioning or best use according to urban planning and space-use optimization.Contribute to decisions on whether to refurbish or repurpose, suggesting some concept design ideas, according to the best leasing or divestment scenarios for the specific buildings.Ability to see the big picture that connects physical space and long-term value creation.Change Management SupportDevelop and implement change management processes for workplace transformationCreate different stakeholder engagement and address resistance by collaborating with HR, leadership, and communications teams to ensure smooth transitions.Ideally, apply structured methodologies to support change readiness and adoption.Design and facilitate workshops and activities to raise awareness and communicateDevelop and facilitate training sessions to enable and support new ways of workingAct as an advocate for people-centered design and engagement throughout the change process.Required QualificationsDegree in Real Estate, Architecture, Urban Planning or related fields.5+ years of experience in workplace strategy, change management, real estate advisory, urban planning, or corporate real estate.Fluency in Portuguese and English (verbal and written)Knowledge of architecture software, EXCEL, and PowerPointExperience in Office fit-out Projects with knowledge of workplace models, spatial behavior, and employee experience.Ability to work across disciplines and translate between technical and strategic audiences.Preferred (but Not Required)Certification in Change Management (e.g., PROSCI, ADKAR, or similar).Data analysis capabilitiesPersonal AttributesStrong communication and interpersonal skills across different audiencesProblem-solving: driven when facing complex organizational challengesSelf-motivated and independentWhat We OfferThe opportunity to help shape the future of work and real estate within a global consultancy company.Work with forward-thinking clients on meaningful transformation projects.A collaborative, curious team with room to lead and grow.Location: LisbonINCO: “Cushman & Wakefield”
