Xiaomi EV - Senior/Lead CMF Designer

Responsibilities：1. Design Leadership- Lead and manage design projects, ensuring alignment with brand identity and project goals.- Develop and present design concepts, sketches, and 3D models to stakeholders.- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers and interns.2. Concept Development- Create innovative and forward-thinking design concepts for both interior and exterior vehicle components.- Conduct research and trend analysis to inform design decisions.- Collaborate with the design team to iterate and refine concepts.3. Collaboration- Work closely with engineering, product planning, and marketing teams to ensure design feasibility and integration.- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.- Engage with suppliers and external partners to source materials and technologies.4. Execution- Develop detailed design specifications and CAD models for production.- Oversee the development of prototypes and mock-ups.- Ensure designs meet functional, aesthetic, and regulatory requirements.5. Project Management- Manage project timelines, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.- Maintain organized documentation of design processes and decisions.- Communicate project status and progress to leadership and stakeholders.Qualifications：1. EducationBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automotive Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.2. ExperienceMinimum of 7 years of experience in automotive design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.3. Technical SkillsProficiency in design software and other industry-standard tools.4. PortfolioA robust portfolio showcasing a range of innovative automotive designs and successful projects.5. Communication SkillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively.6.
