Job Summary:The Youth Services Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of Elevate’s Youth Services programs in Sheboygan County. This includes direct supervision of staff, program operations and maintenance, quality assurance, community relationships, and the implementation of programming.Work Location: Elevate Office 1426 N. 5th Street, Sheboygan, WIPrimary Services Area(s): Sheboygan CountySecondary Services Area(s): Washington & Waukesha CountyPay Range: $23-$28/hourHours: Full Time, Hourly/Non-Exempt, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm (flexibility required)Benefits:Work/Life BalanceCompetitive PayComprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, etc.) for positions of 30 hours or more per weekHealth Savings Account and Flexible Spending Account Dependent CarePaid time off and ten paid holidays’Simple Ira with matching contributionTuition reimbursementEssential Functions:Monitor and support staff according to rules, policies, and procedures of the agency and applicable programs.Ensure timely, accurate, and representative completion of: evaluations, schedules, payroll, and other items as appropriate. Provide coaching, leadership, discipline, and support to staff as directed by the Youth Services Program Manager. Assure thorough and accurate documentation of all services provided. Participate in the execution of the agency’s strategic planParticipate in the hiring of new staffMonitor program budget costs and supervise relevant programmatic expenses. Develop, maintain, and support community action teams, including regularly sharing information, providing training, participating in programs/services, and/or advocating for change in the areas of underage drinking and substance useCo-facilitate the Strategic Prevention Framework process with community action teams to assess needs, mobilize and build capacity, develop a comprehensive strategic plan, implement evidence-based strategies, and measure the impact of the effortSecondary Duties and Responsibilities:Provide support to other Youth Services programs, as needed. Under the leadership of the Youth Services Program Manager and in the spirit of continuous improvement, collaborate with Elevate divisions to refine program offerings to effectively serve communities. Actively participate in Youth Services Division-wide initiatives as assignedPrepare program activity reports for evaluation, fund development, and marketing purposesAssist in identifying public policy initiatives to advance Elevate’s missionRepresent the agency at job-specific committee/affiliation meetingsParticipate in agency staff/committee or program meetings and attend all designated agency functions as specified by management. Other duties as assignedQualifications, Skills, and Competencies:Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field requiredExperience supervising staff. Passion for and experience in youth programmingAbility to demonstrate cultural humilityDemonstrated understanding of youth mental health and substance useExperience working in school and community settings is highly desiredExcellent written, verbal, and public speaking skillsAbility to collaborate and work as part of an interdisciplinary team. Strong interpersonal skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google applicationsHave training in the administration of Naloxone and be willing to administer Naloxone in the case of a suspected opioid overdose within the first 6 months of hire. Relationship-building skills and experiencePersonal qualities of integrity, credibility, initiative, and commitment to Elevate’s mission. Pre-employment criminal background check, employment background check, driver’s license check and drug screening requiredTravel and Other Requirements:This position may require travel throughout the counties served by Elevate, Inc. Must have a reliable vehicle and vehicle insuranceThis position requires working outside of a traditional office environment and may require occasional early morning starts to accommodate school schedules. This position serves community events, which may occasionally require working weekend and evening hours.
