Job Description

The Director of Admissions is a strategic and dynamic leader responsible for overseeing all recruitment and admissions efforts at the College. This role leads the development, implementation, and assessment of data-informed strategies to attract, engage, and enroll a diverse and talented student body—including traditional high school graduates and the matriculation of College Credit Plus students. The Director provides direct supervision to the admissions team to ensure a seamless, student-centered experience from inquiry to enrollment. As a key institutional leader, the Director advances the College’s strategic enrollment goals through cross-departmental collaboration and continuous process improvement.

Personal TouchAll major activities, essential duties, and responsibilities shall be performed by integrating the ZSC personal touch philosophy, which defines our College. Strategic Recruitment Oversight (25%) Design, implement, and evaluate strategic recruitment and admissions initiatives targeting traditional students, CCP matriculation, selective health applicants, and other prospective populations aligned with institutional enrollment goals. Team Supervision and Development (20%) Lead, supervise, and mentor the admissions team, including recruiters and admissions counselors.

Establish goals, provide professional development, and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability. Admissions Operations and Application Processing (20%) Oversees the processing of applications to ensure timely, efficient, and student-friendly responsiveness and admissions workflows. Data Analysis and Reporting (15%) Collect and analyze data to inform decision-making, evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies, refer to best practices for quality applications, and prepare regular reports for institutional leadership. CCP Support (10%) Work collaboratively with student services for successful transition and enrollment of CCP students and matriculation pathways. Collaboration and Communication (10%)Serve as the primary liaison between Admissions and other campus units (e. g.

, Financial Aid, Marketing, Student Services) to ensure coordinated and effective outreach and enrollment processes. Education And QualificationsBachelor’s degree in education, business, or marketing required; master’s degree preferredMinimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in college admissions, enrollment management, education, higher education, or college advisingPrior experience leading recruitment efforts in higher educationCore CompetenciesStrategic Enrollment Management – Ability to design, implement, and assess data-informed recruitment and admissions strategies that align with institutional goals. Leadership & Team Development – Skill in supervising, coaching, and motivating admissions staff to achieve individual and team performance goals.

Student-Centered Service – Commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive, and seamless experience for prospective and admitted students, including diverse populations such as College Credit Plus students. Data Analysis & Decision-Making – Proficiency in using enrollment data, market research, and trends to drive informed decisions, set targets, and measure success. Collaboration & Communication – Strong ability to build partnerships across departments and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to advance recruitment and enrollment initiatives.
