The Role We are seeking an experienced, skilled, and self-driven Electronics Engineer with an interest in exciting technology. Your primary focus will be to develop digital, and some analogue, circuitry as well as hands on work which include preparing and performing system tests. This can include for example EMC and reliability tests. You will work with developers from both the local office and from our other offices within the global organisation. You’ll be part of an experienced and passionate team that develops electronics, software, and mechanics, where you will have the possibility to share ideas, experiences, and knowledge.
You will thereby be able to influence design choices within all development disciplines and be part of the complete development cycle, from idea to finished product. What you will do: Design and verify PCBAs to provide power and control to Print & Apply labelling and other coding systems. Define requirement specifications and develop design projects from concept design to production release. Specify and design the electrical components, cabling, and external system interfaces. Prepare and perform system and sub-system tests, such as for example EMC and reliability tests.
Understand and capture the project specifications and performance requirements on board and system level. Adhere to and manage project timelines and deliverables. Cooperate with engineers from your and other disciplines. Propose and drive technical solutions together with the team. What you need to have: Electronics Engineering Bachelor’s degree or other relevant engineering discipline. Master’s degree preferred. Significant professional experience in electronics design. Experience with Altium PCB design software. Solid knowledge of electrical engineering principles, digital and mixed signal electronics design both at the theoretical and implementation level. Including for example EMC.
Solid understanding of Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DfM, DfA)Working knowledge of modern development practices. Hands on experience with lab equipment like logic analyser, oscilloscope, waveform generators, etc. Strong analytical skills. Good verbal and written communication skills.
