Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? We look forward to meeting you!Job DescriptionPosition Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Industrial Designer to join our multidisciplinary product design team. In this specialist role, you will develop innovative design solutions with strong brand identity while guiding projects from initial concept through to production. This position requires a minimum of 8 years of relevant industrial design experience. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and propose design solutions with clear product messaging and distinct brand identity Create 2D/3D concepts including sketches, drawings, and visual artifacts Lead complex design projects from ideation to production Work across both interior and exterior design domains Mentor and develop team members as a subject matter expert Contribute to lifelong learning within the organization as a trainer/coach Apply production engineering knowledge (especially plastics and metals) Influence design direction across the Volvo Group network Qualifications: ? Essential Requirements:

Minimum 8 years of industrial/product design experience Strong portfolio demonstrating complete product development cycles Expertise in 3D modeling (tools flexible) and production processes Ability to translate concepts into manufacturable solutions Experience mentoring junior designers T-shaped skill profile with both depth and breadth of knowledge ? Preferred Attributes: Automotive design experience (beneficial but not mandatory) Experience with Volvo or similar manufacturing companies Knowledge of automotive materials and production methods Personal Qualities: Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills Excellent visual communication abilities Collaborative team player with leadership qualities Passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing What We Offer:
