Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Sourcing & Supplier ManagementIdentify and onboard high-quality suppliers (domestic and international) across assigned categories, negotiating favorable terms (pricing, MOQ, delivery timelines, and payment conditions) to maximize profitability. Maintain strong supplier relationships, conduct regular performance reviews, and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or compliance.
Strategy & ExecutionAnalyze market trends, customer demand, and sales data to develop and implement merchandising strategies (e. g. , product assortment, pricing, promotions) that align with business goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, logistics) to plan and execute promotional campaigns, ensuring optimal inventory levels and on-time delivery. Inventory & Supply Chain OptimizationMonitor inventory turnover, forecast demand, and adjust purchasing plans to minimize stockouts and overstock, improving inventory efficiency. Coordinate with logistics teams to streamline inbound logistics, ensuring timely product availability on the platform.
Data Analysis & ReportingTrack key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales volume, gross margin, supplier performance, and inventory turnover, providing regular reports to stakeholders. Use data insights to identify growth opportunities, optimize product mix, and refine sourcing strategies. Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree or above, with 2+ years of experience in purchasing, or supply chain management (experience in e-commerce or retail is preferred). Strong negotiation and communication skills, with a proven track record of managing supplier relationships and securing favorable terms. Proficiency in data analysis tools (e. g. , Excel, SQL) and experience using ERP or e-commerce platforms to track sales and inventory.
Familiarity with market trends, product lifecycle management, and supply chain operations. Excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
