Tämä Positio RaportoiSegment ManagerWe are looking for an experienced Global Account Manager to lead and grow strategic customer relationships within the marine industry, supporting ABB’s Motion High Power division globally.
In this role, you will take ownership of key accounts and drive account strategies focused on increasing share of wallet, enhancing profitability, and strengthening customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for coordinating sales activities across teams, monitoring ongoing projects, resolving customer challenges, and executing tactical account plans that align customer priorities with ABB’s long-term goals. Travelling is required up to 30% for this position. The work model for the role is: hybrid;Preferred locations: Norway, Sweden, Finland, Netherlands, Germany, Spain, TurkeyYou Will Be Mainly Accountable ForCustomer Engagement & Business Insights:
Build strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders across customer organizations; develop a deep understanding of customer priorities and decision-making processes to generate valuable business insights and foster long-term partnershipsSales & Profitability Goals: Drive customer-focused strategies that deliver on or exceed annual targets for orders, revenue, and profitability; ensure ABB’s value proposition is clearly articulated and effectively positioned within customer organizationsStrategic Account Planning: Analyze the customer’s business environment and critical drivers; coordinate across ABB divisions and local teams to align on strategies that support shared business objectives and deliver tailored solutionsBusiness Development & Operational Sales:
Identify and prioritize growth opportunities, lead investment initiatives, and create the conditions for easy and efficient collaboration; manage the sales process through CRM platforms like Salesforce, ensuring high data quality to support strategic decision-makingQualifications For The RoleProven experience within the Marine, Industrial, or Infrastructure sectors, with a strong track record in Account Management or Business DevelopmentStrong business acumen, with the ability to understand complex customer business models, interpret market dynamics, and influence strategic outcomesSolid understanding of industry-specific challenges, technical environments, and customer value chainsUniversity degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related fieldExperience in working in multinational, matrixed organisations, with excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills; fluent in English, additional languages are a plusMore About UsABB Motion High Power is a global leader in high-power, high-performance motors, drives, generators, power conversion and packaged solutions.
