Our client, a well-known hedge fund located in Midtown, NY, is looking to add a Windows Engineer to their IT team. This person will be responsible for all Windows Administration needs which include running automation initiatives, API programming, and scripting in PowerShell. The ideal candidate will come with 5-10 years' experience in Windows Engineering for a financial services firm, PowerShell scripting experience, and advanced capabilities in Microsoft Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, Azure, and API calls. Responsibilities Include:
Reviewing and assessing existing Windows administration processes, and identifying process improvement opportunitiesScripting in PowerShell to facilitate automation initiativesDocumenting standard operating procedures, changes, and various system configurationsRequirements: 5-10 years of Windows Engineering experience, preferably for a large financial services firmAdvanced PowerShell scripting capabilitiesTechnical proficiency in SQL, Exchange, SharePoint, and Azure are required; familiarity with API calls is preferred
