The Role You’ll PlayAs a Partner Development Manager at ClassPass in Tokyo, you’ll help expand our footprint by signing top studios, gyms, and wellness partners across the city. You’ll lead the full sales cycle—from first outreach to signed deal—bringing ClassPass to more communities while unlocking growth for local businesses.

About the roleResearch, prospect and sell new studio, gym and wellness partners on to the platform in selected areas to help expand the ClassPass geographic footprintUtilize online and offline resources and tools to develop and maintain your own pipelineDrive the full sales cycle through making/sending introductory calls and emails, meeting prospects face to face, building the relationship and closing the dealEffectively objection handle and customize partnership proposals according to the needs and interests of the prospect and ClassPassDevelop creative, fun, and innovative ways in which you connect and build out your relationships with potential partners and share across the teamActively hit daily KPIs and consistently achieve & exceed monthly sales targets across new partners and pre-existing partners of qualifications & requirementsExperience you bring 5+ years of experience in B2B sales or BD with a track record of relentlessly high standards and top performanceHighly organized individual, self-motivated, strong ability to prioritize and attention to detailA fantastic communicator; not afraid to speak to anyoneA strong negotiator who is driven by resultA genuine curiosity about people and local businesses and the innate ability to inspire passion in othersA natural problem solver who’s comfortable with an ever-changing fast, startup environmentResilience and an ability to overcome objections and obstacles with an openness to feedback, and dedication to consistent self-improvementPositive and inventive attitude and a drive to win with friendly competitionFamiliar with SalesForce, Excel, Word, PowerpointDesire to spend a sizeable share of your time in field sales and meeting prospects face-to-faceProficient in Japanese and EnglishPassion in fitness or sports is highly preferred!Based in Tokyo, Japan#APACHave we piqued your curiosity?Sound like the role for you?
