‘Girls Are A Huge Problem’: Raghu Ram Says He’d Rather Get Heart Attack Than Be Vulnerable To A Woman

Former Roadies judge Raghu Ram has made some serious comments against women, claiming that at times they are the root cause of why men have mental or physical illnesses. He, on a podcast, shared that he feels men die early or commit suicide because of the kind of girl they are with. He shared that at times, he has met women on his popular reality show who are more aggressive than men. Speaking on the Two Girls & Two Cups podcast, Raghu shared, “There were some women in Roadies that our ears turned red, smoke came out, and we fell on the floor. I was taking notes from them. Their decibel levels and language… when girls get down to it. Girls are not gentlemen. Even when men are fighting, there’s still a limit. Women don’t have that limit. They get so screechy, and what they say is very hurtful. We get very scared.” “Girls are a huge problem because they may say they need emotionally open men, but they don’t actually want them. When a man turns emotional, they reject him saying. ‘You’re like a girl! We’ve lost respect for you.’ Because of girls, guys don’t share anything. We’re happy to have a heart attack at 60 instead,” added Raghu. He further went on to say, “It’s because of the way women don’t accept us when we open up. We don’t even have an option. How bad can it be? Heart attack? Bypass surgery? We’ll do that. But I won’t say something vulnerable to a woman. When a man does, women use that against him.” About Raghu Ram Raghu Ram became a household name after he started hosting the popular reality show Roadies on MTV. Recently, Paramount Global officially announced that five of MTV’s remaining music channels — MTV Music, MTV 80s, MTV 90s, Club MTV, and MTV Live — will shut down across the UK, Europe, and other international markets by December 31, 2025. Raghu, while speaking about it, got emotional and talked about how deeply MTV influenced his life and career. “I was very, very into MTV in the 90s and early 2000s. In fact, MTV has played a very big role in my life,” he said. He also addressed the accusation that he was responsible for MTV India’s shift away from music towards reality content. “Some even accuse me of being the reason MTV moved away from music. I don’t know how much truth there is in that. But you can see now — those who didn’t move internationally, those channels are shutting down. So MTV India, you’re welcome, I guess,” Raghu said.
