Kandi Burruss Thanked Todd Tucker at BravoCon Days Before Split

Kandi Burruss sang husband Todd Tucker’s praises at BravoCon 2025 one week before news broke that they are getting divorced.

While accepting The Bravos’ Wifetime Achievement Award on Friday, November 14, Burruss, 49, gave a shout-out to her “Kandi-coated clique” before shining a spotlight on her family for their constant support.

“To Todd, thank you for surviving the blogs, the shade, the rumors, the lies, the truth, the almost fights, the actual fights, the reunions,” she said with a laugh. “You earned this award too.”

The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star then applauded her mom and aunts for giving Bravo “way more drama than they deserve.”

She also praised daughter Riley Burruss, who is now a star of Next Gen NYC, saying, “You took the torch, lit it on fire and brought that Burruss heat to a whole new franchise and I’m here for it.”

After Bravo posted the extended version of her speech on social media, Tucker, 52, applauded his wife for her time on the network.

“Much deserved, you did it with class and dignity. You’re an inspiration to many. You’re the 🐐 GOAT!” he wrote in the comments section of Bravo and Kandi’s joint Instagram post.

Kandi’s sweet shout-out to her spouse came one week before Us Weekly confirmed on Friday, November 21, that the couple have called it quits.

“After deep thought and a lot of prayer, I’ve made the decision to move forward with a divorce,” Kandi said in a statement to Us. “This is a difficult and emotional time, but my focus remains on protecting my peace, being the best mother I can be, and coparenting with love and respect.”

She explained: “I’m stepping into a new chapter pouring into my work, my family and my own growth. I’m grateful to everyone who supported us throughout the years, and I ask for privacy, grace and understanding as we navigate this transition with our family.”
