Lady Gaga and Fiance Michael Polansky Plan to Get Married Soon

Lady Gaga and fiancé Michael Polansky may be married in a matter of months.

“We’re talking about it all the time,” Polansky, 42, told Rolling Stone in an interview published on Thursday, November 13, revealing that he and Gaga, 39, plan to tie the knot either during or just after the “Paparazzi” singer’s Mayhem Ball. The tour is scheduled to wrap up at Madison Square Garden in New York City on April 13, 2026.

Polansky continued, “We have these breaks, and they’re tempting. It’s like, ‘OK, can we get married that weekend?’ We don’t want a really big wedding, but we want to enjoy it. In a lot of ways, we already feel married, so it’s not like it’s gonna change much.”

Gaga (real name Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta) confirmed her engagement to Polansky in July 2024 when she introduced the venture capitalist as her fiancé while speaking to Prime Minister of France Gabriel Attal at the Summer Olympics.

The Grammy winner later revealed that Polansky had proposed to her that April with a “blade of grass” instead of a ring.

“A long time ago, we were in the backyard, and he asked me, ‘If I ever proposed to you, like, how do I do that?’ And I just said, ‘Just get a blade of grass from the backyard and wrap it around my finger and that will make me so happy,’” she explained during a March interview with the BBC. The proposal served as the inspiration for her song “Blade of Grass” from her Mayhem album.

Though Polansky has since gotten her a real engagement ring, Gaga told Rolling Stone, “I have the blade of grass. I’m just not wearing it today!”

After Gaga and Polansky get married, the couple hopes to start a family.

“Being a mom is the thing I want the most,” Gaga told the magazine, adding that Polansky will be a “beautiful father.”

“We’re really excited about that,” she shared.
