Several regions across Mumbai are expected to experience moderate rainfall on Tuesday (October 28) as the Indian Meteorological Department has issued a "yellow alert" for the city. Areas including Palghar, Thane, Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg are likely to see a partly cloudy sky today with thunderstorms. The IMD has further issued a yellow alert for the city. The maximum temperature will remain at 33 degrees Celsius, while, minimum will go down to 24 degrees Celsius. Moreover, the thunderstorm will be accompanied by lightning and gusty winds at a speed of 40-50 kmph. Several areas in Mumbai recorded good air quality, while Colaba recorded "moderate" air quality, with an AQI of 138. The rain intensity across Mumbai is expected to decrease slightly on October 31; however, showers are likely to continue. In the last few days, Mumbai's air quality has improved, with people witnessing clear skies. Netizens were sharing picturesque moments, showcasing the city’s scenic skies and vibrant atmosphere, and thanking the rains. "Thanks to the rains and the Arabian Sea depression, Mumbai is experiencing the clearest skies and freshest air. What should be normal feels like a luxury," one of the posts read.
