With her back to the camera, Skai is dressed in a hat, a puffy jacket, gloves, snow pants, and snow boots to protect her.Svitolina married fellow tennis player Gael Monfils on July 16, 2021, and welcomed Skai on October 15, 2022.Here is the photo of Skai enjoying the snow:Elina Svitolina's Instagram storyAfter Skai's birth, Elina Svitolina took another six months before returning to action at the 2023 Charleston Open. In 2025, the former World No. 3 won her lone title at the WTA 250 Open de Rouen in France, and finished the season with a 35-15 record. The 31-year-old reached the quarterfinals at the Australian Open and French Open. She fell in the third round of the Wimbledon Championships, while suffering an opening-round exit at the US Open. Her last event of the season came at the Billie Jean King Cup in September, where Ukraine lost to eventual winners Italy in the semifinals. In an Instagram post shortly after, Svitolina announced the end of her campaign, citing emotional and mental exhaustion."I haven’t been feeling like myself lately. I’m not in the right emotional space, and I don’t feel ready to play, so I am therefore ending the season here. Over the years, I’ve learned that this sport isn’t about money, fame, or rankings; it’s about being ready to fight and to give your all. Right now, I’m simply not at the level mentally or emotionally to do that," she wrote. When Elina Svitolina said she plans to have more kidsWTA 1000 National Bank Open presented by Rogers - Source: GettyDuring a conversation with Adidas (via Yark Barker) in June of this year, Elina Svitolina asserted that she did not plan on playing late like her husband, Gael Monfils, who is 39.The World No. 14 said:“No, because obviously, I want to have more kids. I have so many things outside of tennis. For me, I will be fine to stop earlier than Gaël’s age now."Turning pro in 2008, Svitolina has so far won 18 singles titles, including the 2018 WTA Finals. Her best result at the Grand Slam tournaments has been reaching the semifinals on three occasions. The Ukrainian recently posted a video from the sidelines of a practice session alongside Gael Monfils, as the couple gear up for 2026.
