Mark Ruffalo's absence in 'Now You See Me 3' explained

Mark Ruffalo fans have been trying to figure out the absence of the actor ever since the trailer of Now You See Me 3 released. The makers dropped multiple trailers and even dropped a featurette, but neither of them had Ruffalo’s presence in them. Ruben Fleischer, in a latest interview, disclosed why the Avengers actor had been absent from all the trailers. There is a brief appearance made by the 57-year-old actor in the new sequel. Director Ruben explained the reason behind his small role and also updated about his long screen time in the fourth sequel. The Venom director hopes to see Mark more in the next sequel. He explained Variety, “The biggest challenge with Mark is his schedule. He’s a very busy guy, and so he was only able to be in the film because we did some reshoots this summer.” “He wasn’t originally available over the course of principal photography. He actually wasn’t even available during our reshoots, but I was lucky to catch him for a day in New York, and we shot him against a green screen”, unveiled the 51-year-old director. “That’s why he’s a hologram, as opposed to entering into the scene.” The filmmaker said that “We took what we could get.” Now You See Me 4 is already in development with Fleischer returning to direct the film.

Pusha T, wife Virginia Williams expecting second baby

Pusha T and his wife Virginia Williams are about to expand their family of three to four. In an Instagram post over the weekend, the American rapper shared a series of photos from his wife's gallery exhibition announcing her pregnancy. Pusha T, whose real name is Terrence LeVarr Thornton, and Williams are already parents to son Nigel Brixx Thornton. "ALL THINGS CONSIDERED…[red and blue heart emoji]," the So Be It rapper began the caption. "Nigel, you ask and you shall receive…but this time it was mommy who made it happen. She prayed day and night, struggled with disappointments, but she never gave up on your wishes," he continued. "You are gonna owe her big time!! New responsibility, new standards, and new expectations all come with being a big brother…I hope you are ready." The Mercy vocalist playfully noted that his first born would have to learn to "share them toys, teach your gifts, and love on the new best friend that mommy gave you." The one half of the Virginia-based hip hop duo Clipse then referenced his own experience in having a sibling, writing, "You’re gonna love it, just look at your daddy and Uncle Mookie…what’s better than that? [cool emoji]." In addition, his wife also took to her Instagram to share the delightful news alongside a series of photos and videos. "2nd masterpiece on the way… God is good," she wrote, accompanied with a carousel, whose cover photo featured the soon to be mother of two flashing a bright smile as she cradles her baby bump in a chic black-and-white outfit. She wore a long-sleeved asymmetrical hem black top paired with black and white flared pants at a gallery in which her work was on display. Among other images, in one snapshot the couple's five-year-old son was captured hugging his mother in front of her exhibition, titled Hancock Avenue.

Shocking video: Former football president pelted with eggs at book launch

In an unexpected incident that took place on Thursday, November 13, 2025, former football president from Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), Luis Rubiales, was pelted with eggs during book launch ceremony. As reported, the shocking scene happened when Luis Rubiales was presenting his new book Matar a Rubiales (Killing Rubiales) at the Espacio Eventize media centre in Madrid. Viral video shows him attempting to dodge the eggs thrown at him before confronting the assailant in the crowd. The disgraced ex-boss was forced to quickly spin away to avoid at least two-three of the eggs, with one splattering on a screen nearby. The bizarre story twists as Rubiales later claimed to a news outlet that the person who threw eggs upon him was his own ‘deranged’ or ‘mentally unstable’ uncle. "A man entered, who I later saw was my uncle, who is a troubled man, and always has been," Former football president told media reporters. Rubiales further added, "He had some eggs and threw some at me, but I didn't know what he had in his hands, and when I first saw him, I thought he might be carrying a weapon." The former football boss is known as a ‘disgraced man’ as he was previously found guilty of sexual assault for kissing Spain women’s defender Jenni Hermoso after their 2023 World Cup victory. Hermoso, later said in court that the disgraced ex-boss disrespected her by doing this inappropriate act without her consent and had 'stained one of the happiest days' of her life. While Rubiales has always denied that he sexually assaulted Hermoso without her consent that called for a scandal leading to his resignation. However, he eventually stepped down under immense pressure from the government, football officials, women players and fans. Additionally, he was fined €10,800 (£9,206) from the Spanish court earlier this year and was banned for contacting her.

Jesse Eisenberg reveals why he doesn't watch his own movies

The Social Network actor Jesse Eisenberg has revealed that he never watches his own movies. The 42-year-old actor’s new film Now You See Me 3 has just released that also features Dave Franco, Woody Harrelson and Isla Fisher. In one of the promotional interviews, the Oscar nominated director revealed that he never watches his own movies as he does not like seeing himself on-screen. Jesse told the Associated Press, “Oh, no, I mean, I don’t watch any movies I’ve been in, which is probably why I’m doing a play now, because there’s no way for me to see it.” A Real Pain actor opened that he believes in doing the actual thing and that is what has kept him going. “Yeah, so for me the real joy and the work you know is doing the actual thing. I don’t really need to see what I look like from the side”, said Eisenberg. The upcoming Now You See Me sequel brings together The Four Horsemen with a new generation of illusionists, who together bring down a worldwide criminal network. Directed by Ruben Fleischer, Now You See Me: Now You Don’t also features Morgan Freeman, Mark Ruffalo, Ariana Greenblatt besides Jesse Eisenberg.

Remember when it was very briefly but widely reported that the last national election was completely untrustworthy because a friend of Trump's altered zillions of voting machines just before the election, and no one knows what the alteration was or did? And Trump bombed Iran a couple of days later, and the 'journalism' industry never picked up that story again. Now, Epstein disasters! And conveniently Iran is offering provocation. He must be paying them, in some coin or another. Maybe, in the Republican tradition, he's illegally giving them weapons to use against our allies and our troops. Global Growth

The World Economic Outlook, October 2025, published by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), provides interesting insights into the trends in the growth of the global economy. On the positive side, the report expects that the slowdown in the global economy, after the import tariff hikes in the United States (US), will be rather modest and may not be as significant as anticipated. Hence, they forecast that global growth will only slowly decelerate from 3.3% in 2024 to 3.2% in 2025 and further to 3.1% in 2026. This will mean five consecutive years of slower growth after the global economy bounced back to a peak of 6.6% in 2021, immediately after the pandemic. A simple calculation shows that long-term global growth will hence decelerate to 3.1% in the 10 years between 2017 and 2026, a bit slower than the 3.4% growth clocked in the previous 10 years between 2007 and 2016. This is understandable given the sharp deceleration or decline in growth across the major economies during the pandemic and the increasing hurdles to the growth of global trade across the nations. But it is just not the slowdown which is worrying. What makes this deceleration in growth more alarming is that it is the emerging market and developing economies (EMDEs) that have been worst hit. This is in sharp contrast to the growth in the advanced economies, where it has even accelerated. In fact, the gap between annual average growth rates in EMDEs and advanced economies will almost halve to around 2% in the current decade. Such opposing trends in the advanced economies and EMDEs imply that any chances of the EMDEs ever catching up with advanced economies will further recede now. This is rather alarming as the growth prospects of EMDEs are fraying as new trade barriers and geopolitical uncertainties weigh down on the prospects of international trade. Decadal figures show that average annual growth in the advanced economies will pick up by almost half, with the numbers accelerating from 1.3% in the 2007–16 period to 1.9% in the 2017–26 period. Among advanced economies, the largest gains are by the European Union (EU) and the US. While annual average growth in the EU will almost double from 0.9% during 2007–16 to 1.6% in 2017–26, that of the US will move up from 1.5% to 2.3%. Growth will, however, be lackadaisical in Japan, with the numbers stagnating at 0.4% across the decades. But unlike in the advanced economies, which register a marginal acceleration, the overall growth in the EMDEs is expected to slow down from 5.3% in 2007–16 to 4% in 2017–26. The slowdown is the worst in emerging and developing Asia, with growth sharply decelerating from 7.6% to 5.2%, that is, by around 2.4 percentage points. In emerging Asia, China is to register one of the sharpest falls, with the annual average growth rate dipping from 9% in 2007–16 to 5.3% in 2017–26, that is, by 3.7 percentage points. The decadal dip is milder in India’s case, with the numbers only going down from 6.8% to 5.7%, a decline of 1.1 percentage points. Growth is expected to pick up from 6.5% in 2024 to 6.6% in 2025 and then dip to 6.2% in 2026, the slowest since the pandemic. The deceleration of growth in EMDEs in Latin America, the Middle East and Central Asia and in sub-Saharan Africa will be more benign. Among EMDEs, only emerging and developing Europe will be able to marginally sustain the growth momentum. A positive impact of the global slowdown is the sharp d-eceleration in consumer prices. While consumer prices in advanced economies are forecast to slow down from 2.6% in 2024 to 2.5% in 2025 and further to 2.2% in 2026 (that is, by 0.4 percentage points), those in the EMDEs will decline from 5.3% to 4.7% to 3.9% (by 1.4 percentage points). A surprising forecast made in the report is that consumer prices in the US will also mirror the global trends, with the numbers decelerating from 3% in 2024 to 2.7% in 2025 and further to 2.4% in 2026. This is rather surprising as it indicates that the tariff hikes on imports into the country will have almost no impact on consumer prices. However, growth is also forecast to slow down from 2.1% in 2024 to 1.8% each in 2025 and 2026. Prices in the EU will also decelerate from 2.6% to 2.4% to 2.2% over the period. Among EMDEs, consumer prices in emerging Asia will de-celerate from 1.9% in 2024 to 1.3% in 2025 and then pick up to 2.1% in 2026. Though consumer prices will continue to decelerate in Latin America and the Caribbean, emerging and developing Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia, and sub-Saharan Africa, they are still forecast to remain high in the 5% to 10% range in 2026. Another positive aspect highlighted in the IMF report is the marginal increase in the volume of global trade in goods and services, despite the growing restrictions on imports and migration. The growth of global trade volumes is expected to pick up marginally from 3.5% in 2024 to 3.6% in 2025 and then decelerate to 2.3% in 2026. Similarly, the global trade prices will also marginally pick up during these years. However, while the volume of exports of goods and services from advanced economies will pick up from 1.8% in 2024 to 2.1% in 2025, that from EMDEs will slow down from 6.5% to 5.9% during this period. To add to the woes, exports of goods and services will slow down in both jurisdictions in 2026.

Asif assails former SC judges Shah, Minallah

ISLAMABAD: Defence Minister Khawaja Asif on Friday strongly criticised the resignations of two Supreme Court judges, describing the move as a “desperate manoeuvre” in response to the loss of their ‘judicial monopoly’ following the passage of the 27th Constitutional Amendment. The resignations of Justices Syed Mansoor Ali Shah and Athar Minallah came mere hours after President Asif Ali Zardari signed the amendment into law on Thursday, an act now officially recognised by the president. Speaking in a heated National Assembly session, Asif accused the judiciary of suffering from “selective amnesia,” suggesting that the two justices had conveniently forgotten their past actions while now attempting to position themselves as protectors of democracy. He argued that their sudden concern for judicial independence was merely a reaction to the reduction of their powers. The minister traced the judiciary’s involvement in the political crisis that led to the removal of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, reminding lawmakers of the Supreme Court’s role in orchestrating his ousting. “Four to five years ago – in fact, eight to 10 years ago – when the process to remove Nawaz Sharif began, I want to remind you of the role our Supreme Court judges played,” Asif said, adding that the judiciary had effectively turned a political conspiracy against Sharif into a reality. As the opposition chanted slogans, Asif continued his accusations, recalling the landmark Panama Papers case. He highlighted the formation of two benches under then-Chief Justice Saqib Nisar, which ultimately declared Sharif ineligible to hold office, leading to his removal from politics. Asif pointed to Justices Asif Saeed Khan Khosa, Ejaz Afzal, Gulzar Ahmed, and Ijazul Ahsan as part of the bench that made this ruling, emphasising that their role in disqualifying a democratically elected leader should not be overlooked. “As Nawaz Sharif was declared ineligible, another bench was formed to decide the duration of his ineligibility,” Asif noted, criticising the judiciary’s practice of dismissing elected prime ministers with a single stroke of the pen. He also referenced a bench that ruled Sharif’s disqualification would be permanent, with a subsequent decision declaring that an ineligible person could not lead a political party. “These ‘kangaroo courts’ victimised Nawaz Sharif, with an agenda to ensure he would be permanently ousted from politics,” Asif added, pointing to the resignations of Justices Shah and Minallah after the 27th Amendment’s passage. Asif also mocked Justice Shah for including a poem by renowned poet Ahmad Faraz in his resignation letter. “Now they’re writing poetry and issuing political statements after their time in the courts,” he said, deriding the judges for their post-resignation conduct. The minister further claimed that their actions, cloaked in the guise of upholding judicial independence, were nothing more than a bid to reclaim the monopoly they had once enjoyed in the country’s highest court. “The amendment seeks to establish the supremacy of the constitution,” Asif stressed, arguing that the judges’ claims of the amendment undermining the judiciary’s independence were without merit. In accused the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) of prioritising the interests of ‘an individual’ over the constitution. He also lambasted the opposition for failing to denounce recent terrorist attacks in Wana and Islamabad, accusing them of aligning themselves with “protectors of terrorists.” Meanwhile, the National Assembly referred four bills to the relevant standing committees for further deliberation. The coming water reckoning
World

The coming water reckoning

EDITORIAL: Pakistan, one of the world’s most water-stressed countries, faces an intensifying crisis that is both environmental and geopolitical in nature. The first edition of the World Bank’s Global Water Monitoring Report titled “Continental Drying: A Threat to Our Common Future” paints a troubling picture of how unsustainable water use, climate change, and regional politics are converging to exacerbate this country’s growing water vulnerability. According to the report, Pakistan is among six nations with the highest levels of inefficient agricultural water use amid increasingly arid conditions. The agricultural sector — which consumes over 90 percent of our freshwater resources — remains dominated by water-intensive crops, such as rice and sugarcane. Alarmingly, rice cultivation has expanded into the semi-arid zones of southern Punjab, a practice that is accelerating groundwater depletion. The report notes that two-thirds of inefficient irrigation in drying areas is linked to the cultivation of such water-hungry crops, highlighting a critical mismatch between Pakistan’s agricultural choices and its hydrological reality. However, the water challenge is not solely the result of domestic inefficiencies. It is being compounded by India’s weaponisation of transboundary river waters. Under the Indus Waters Treaty (IWT) of 1960, the waters of the western rivers — Indus, Jhelum, and Chenab — were allocated to Pakistan, while India retained rights over the eastern rivers. Yet, India has not only intensified the construction of upstream dams and hydroelectric projects on our rivers, but during the recent months its senior leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, have openly been threatening to divert and block water flows into Pakistan, vowing that “not a drop of water from the Indus River will be allowed to reach Pakistan”. Such rhetoric fundamentally undermines the spirit of the IWT that has served as a cornerstone of South Asian water diplomacy for over six decades. The combination of internal mismanagement, inefficient irrigation, and external threats poses a grave risk to our economy, food security, and overall well-being. The World Bank’s report further reveals that the planet is losing 324 billion cubic meters of freshwater annually, largely due to droughts, deforestation, and poor water management. For Pakistan, where per capita water availability has fallen below the scarcity threshold of 1,000 cubic meters, these global losses only amplify local vulnerabilities. This situation demands urgent reform. Our policymakers must overhaul water governance framework, promote efficient irrigation technologies, shift toward smarter and less water-intensive crop patterns, invest in large-scale reforestation, and strengthen groundwater regulation. In essence, Pakistan’s water crisis is not merely an environmental issue; it is a national challenge, intertwined with weak agricultural policy and volatile regional politics. The World Bank’s findings are a stark reminder that water could become a trigger for conflict unless managed with foresight, equity, and resilience. Copyright Business Recorder, 2025

Vanishing air quality data
Politics

Vanishing air quality data

EDITORIAL: The Environment Protection and Climate Change Department (EPCCD) of Punjab has found itself at the centre of a fresh controversy after admitting that “due to a technical issue, AQI monitoring at some stations had been interrupted.” The department, in a post on X, assured citizens that a team was working to restore the data and that the missing information would be available soon. But this admission came only after a storm of criticism erupted on social media, sparked by climate activists who accused the department of turning off air quality monitors at a time when Lahore’s pollution levels had soared to hazardous highs. Screenshots shared by one prominent activist showed that several monitoring stations listed on the government’s official website — aqipunjab.com — had not updated their readings for hours, with some still displaying data from many days earlier. The activist claimed that the EPCCD had deliberately shut down several monitors in Lahore, while the ones left running were reading “beyond index” — a term used when pollution levels are so severe that they exceed the equipment’s measuring capacity. Another user went further, suggesting a “strategic motive” behind the alleged shutdowns. In a sharply worded post, he wrote, “Punjab government’s new air quality strategy: if pollution levels look bad, just turn off the monitors. Eight out of ten monitors are shut beyond 10 p.m. in Lahore (when air quality dips further) to lower the average.” He tagged Punjab’s Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, urging her to ensure uninterrupted monitoring, noting that millions of rupees have already been spent on the air quality infrastructure. The outrage is understandable. Lahore’s Air Quality Index (AQI) reportedly reached a hazardous 517 between 8 and 9 a.m. recently — a level at which simply breathing outdoors poses serious health risks to everyone. In such a situation, any perceived suppression or mishandling of environmental data becomes more than a technical issue; it becomes a matter of public trust and accountability. If the problem was indeed technical, the department should have been transparent from the outset. Timely and proactive communication can prevent misinformation and maintain credibility. But when officials remain silent until forced to respond, speculation fills the vacuum eroding trust in public institutions. In recent years, Punjab has invested heavily in air monitoring infrastructure as part of a broader shift towards data-driven environmental policy. That investment must be matched with transparency, reliability, and the political will to confront pollution honestly, rather than manage its optics. As smog season grips Lahore and other urban centres across the province, one thing is clear: fixing broken monitors will not be enough. What truly needs restoration is public confidence — the assurance that the government will face environmental reality, however unpleasant, with honesty, consistency, and an urgent science-based mitigation strategy. Iran warns U.S. operation near Venezuela risks regional stability

TEHRAN, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei on Saturday warned of "precarious" consequences for international peace and security from intensified U.S. military activity in the Caribbean and Latin America. In a statement, he urged respect for Venezuela's sovereignty and territorial integrity, two days after U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced a "counternarcotics operation" in the Western Hemisphere known as "Southern Spear." Baghaei said U.S. threats to use force against Venezuela's legal government amounted to "conspicuous law-breaking" and a violation of the UN Charter. He cited "numerous reports" by international organizations describing U.S. attacks on fishing boats in the Caribbean Sea and Eastern Pacific as "arbitrary and extrajudicial killings," and said Washington was "abusing" the issue of drug trafficking to infringe on Venezuela's sovereignty. He also called on the United Nations to prevent actions that could undermine international peace and encourage "belligerent unilateralism." The United States has deployed several warships north of Venezuela, saying the mission targets suspected "narco-terrorists" it claims are linked to the Venezuelan government. Since September, the United States has carried out 20 strikes on fishing vessels in the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific, killing 80 people.

Russian alleged hacker linked to Kremlin-backed cybercrime group arrested in Phuket

Moscow [Russia], November 15 (ANI): A Russian man wanted by the United States for alleged cybercrimes has been arrested on the Thai resort island of Phuket, CNN reported, citing Thai police's statement. Thai police said 35-year-old Denis Obrezko is allegedly part of the notorious group Void Blizzard, a cyber espionage gang recognised by Microsoft for hacking attacks that align with Kremlin interests. Obrezko was taken into custody on November 6 in a joint operation involving the FBI and Thai authorities. He had arrived in Phuket only a week earlier, according to Thailand's Cyber Crime Investigation Bureau (CCIB), CNN reported. 'This individual had previously breached security systems and attacked government agencies in both Europe and the United States,' the CCIB said Friday. He will be held at the Criminal Court in Bangkok pending extradition to the US, it said. Police tracked him down to a hotel room in Phuket, where they seized several electronic devices, including a notebook computer, mobile phone and digital wallet, for forensic examination, officers said. Russia has acknowledged the arrest. Diplomat Ilya Ilyin from the Russian embassy in Thailand confirmed that a Russian citizen was detained in Phuket last week on suspicion of cybercrimes, reportedly at the request of US authorities, according to the TASS news agency. Microsoft Threat Intelligence (MTI) has previously highlighted Void Blizzard as a major threat actor targeting countries and sectors opposed to Russian interests, as per CNN. The group's attacks have focused on government, defence, transport, media, NGOs, and healthcare organisations across the US, Europe, and Ukraine. 'They often use stolen sign-in details that they likely buy from online marketplaces to gain access to organisations,' researchers said in a statement. 'Once inside, they steal large amounts of emails and files.' Void Blizzard is known for using basic techniques for initial access, including 'password spraying' where common passwords are systematically applied across multiple usernames, and using stolen authentication details, MTI found. 'Despite the lack of sophistication in their initial access methods, Void Blizzard has been effective in gaining access to and collecting information from compromised organisations in critical sectors,' MTI added. Void Blizzard regularly targets government and law enforcement entities, especially in NATO countries and those offering military or humanitarian aid to Ukraine, MTI said. The group's activities have affected various sectors in Ukraine, including education, transportation and defence. (ANI)

Energy watchdog shifts outlook, casting doubt on climate goals

LONDON, U.K.: Global demand for oil and gas could keep rising until 2050, the International Energy Agency said on November 12. This marks a shift from its earlier view that the world would soon move quickly to cleaner energy sources — and suggests that global climate goals may not be met. The IEA, which advises Western governments on energy security, has faced U.S. pressure in recent years to shift its focus from clean energy to supporting oil and gas production. President Donald Trump has urged American companies to expand drilling. Under former President Joe Biden, the IEA had predicted that oil demand would peak before 2030 and said that no new investment in oil and gas would be needed if the world wanted to meet its climate targets. However, Trump's Energy Secretary, Chris Wright, dismissed those earlier projections as "nonsensical." The IEA is funded by its member countries, with the U.S. as the most significant contributor. Its reports influence energy policies worldwide. In its 2025 World Energy Outlook, the IEA said that under current policies — meaning only existing government actions are counted — oil demand could reach 113 million barrels per day by 2050, about 13 percent higher than in 2024. Global energy demand could rise by 15 percent by 2035, equal to about 90 exajoules more energy use. The IEA last used this "current policies" model in 2019. Since 2020, it has focused on cleaner energy pathways to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050. The agency said it wanted to include new climate targets from countries for 2031–2035, but too few had submitted plans. In another model — the stated policies scenario, which includes planned but not yet enforced policies — oil demand is expected to peak around 2030. The IEA emphasized that these are scenarios, not firm forecasts. The report also found that investments in new liquefied natural gas (LNG) projects have jumped in 2025. About 300 billion cubic meters of new annual LNG capacity could be operating by 2030 — a 50 percent increase in global supply. Under the current policy scenario, the global LNG market could grow from 560 bcm in 2024 to 880 bcm in 2035 and 1,020 bcm in 2050, driven by power demand from data centers and artificial intelligence. Spending on data centers is expected to reach US$580 billion in 2025, surpassing the $540 billion spent annually on oil supply, the IEA said. The report also includes a net-zero scenario that outlines a path to cutting global energy emissions to zero by 2050. However, it warns that even with all current efforts, the world is likely to exceed the 1.5°C warming limit agreed at the 2015 Paris climate talks. Temperatures would only fall again under the net-zero scenario — and only if large-scale carbon removal technologies are used.

Jason Robertson, Stars eager to continue hot streaks in clash vs. Flyers

(Photo credit: David Kirouac-Imagn Images) Jason Robertson will look to stretch his 'puck luck' when the Dallas Stars open a brief two-game homestand Saturday night against the Philadelphia Flyers. Robertson collected two goals and an assist as the Stars blanked the Montreal Canadiens 7-0 on Thursday to stretch their winning streak to four games. With the three-point performance, Robertson extended his point streak to three games (three goals, four assists). The 26-year-old has 11 points (three goals, eight assists) over his last seven games. 'I wouldn't say it's easier,' Robertson said. 'It just happens. Puck luck. I don't know if those shots go in a week or two ago, but it did (in Montreal), and it feels good.' Stars coach Glen Gulutzan credited Robertson for continuing to play his game regardless of whether it translates on the scoresheet. 'That's why you've got to stick with it,' Gulutzan said. 'Confidence is a funny thing. When you've been that good of a scorer for that long, you've just got to stick with it. It's a credit to him. He never really got too down on himself.' Colin Blackwell scored a goal and an assist; Alex Petrovic, Wyatt Johnston, Tyler Seguin and defenseman Esa Lindell also scored in the win over the Canadiens. Radek Faksa notched three assists while Mikko Rantanen had two, and Casey DeSmith made 24 saves for his 13th career shutout. The Stars improved to 8-1-2 over their last 11 games. 'Honestly, we want to win games,' Robertson said. 'We want to keep winning games, and whether you're not feeling good or not, (we) want to keep winning and adjusting. Can't get ahead of ourselves but just trying to find ways to win.' Saturday will mark the first of two meetings between the Stars and Flyers this season. Dallas won both matchups last season, outscoring Philadelphia 7-3. The Flyers will travel to Dallas on Saturday for the second game of a back-to-back following a 6-5 shootout win in St. Louis on Friday night. The line of Trevor Zegras, Owen Tippett and Christian Dvorak carried the offensive load, combining for all five goals in regulation as the Flyers erased 3-1 and 5-3 deficits to force overtime. Zegras, who was unable to convert a penalty shot in overtime, added the shootout winner for Philadelphia, which stretched its point streak to five games (3-0-2). Goaltender Sam Ersson made 12 saves as the Flyers improved to 3-2-1 on the road this season. 'I don't think we got off to the start we wanted, but we turned it around pretty quickly,' Tippett said. 'Obviously was playing catch-up the whole game, but we got it done.' The Dvorak-Tippett-Zegras line combined for 10 points (five goals, five assists) in Friday's victory. '(Dvorak) is good all around the ice, and (Zegras) just hangs on to it and makes plays no matter where he is and how many guys are on him,' said Tippett, who matched a career high with his four-point effort. 'We've been together for a good portion of the year now, and it was fun tonight.' --Field Level Media
