Are you ready to join a team that dreams as big as you do?The Key Purpose of this role is to execute the Tier 1 and Tier 2 logistics strategy effectively. This includes identifying any deviations from the plan and taking corrective actions or realigning efforts as needed. The role also ensures that key performance indicators for Tier 1, Tier 2, and Warehouse logistics are consistently met to support overall service levels for sales. Additionally, the role involves controlling and managing variable logistics costs. Finally, this position is responsible for implementing and supporting the DPO, VPO, and LCP. Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Act as an intermediary with Sales to ensure demand is met and service levels are delivered in the most cost-efficient manner, supporting the achievement of VLC and SL accountability. Manage operational performance and execution across Tier 1, Tier 2, and warehouse operations to meet targets and ensure alignment with Variable Logistics Costs. Monitor and calculate the Latest Estimate, with plans in place to recover from any deviations, ensuring Variable Logistics Performance goals are met. Oversee FG warehouse capacity to maximize efficient space utilization and ensure service level targets are achieved.
Manage all Tier 1 and Tier 2 warehouse KPIs to drive overall productivity improvements. SCOH by minimizing waste, reducing bottlenecks, lowering stock age write-offs, and minimizing stock count variances to reduce losses. Monitor performance and execution against the Returnable Container plan, ensuring service levels are met. Define and control the Finished Goods and Returnable Container plans for production to support service level targets. Support production performance by minimizing logistics-related downtime and ensuring execution aligns with the production plan. Define transportation requirements for Tier 1 and Tier 2 movements of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring correct fleet sizing to meet demand.
Manage and report on Tier 1 and Tier 2 transportation and inventory deployment plans to achieve 100% load plan attainment. Implement and maintain DPO and VPO initiatives as a SME, driving results. Ensure a safe working environment at all times. Implement the LCP, achieving results as both SME and SPOC. Minimum Requirements:
