Job SummaryŸ This role reports into the Head BSM. It is a Middle Management position requiring a focused and independent approach to achieving best practice criteria in the management of Assets and Liquidity Management desk. The incumbent is expected to operate with business flair and actively contribute towards the overall business strategy of Treasury. The function is implicitly aligned with ALM processes of the bank and carries, responsibility for the pro-active management of funding, placement tools and capital management. Responsible for Regulatory Reporting. Support the development and execution of green, social, and sustainability-linked financing productsConduct research and analysis on ESG market trends, regulatory developments, and sustainability frameworks (e. g. , ICMA, LMA) Assist in preparing sustainability-related client presentations, pitchbooks, and transaction documentationHelp coordinate internal ESG assessments, client eligibility reviews, and use-of-proceeds trackingSupport impact reporting and alignment with external standards (e. g.
, Green Bond Principles, TCFD)Maintain internal databases for sustainable finance deals and contribute to regulatory and voluntary disclosuresCollaborate with teams across banking, risk, compliance, and legal to ensure robust ESG due diligence and product integrityProvide treasury input for Asset-Liability Committee (ALCO) reporting and decision-making. Support recovery and resolution planning, including contingency funding and liquidity stress scenarios. Act as a point of contact for regulatory audits, inspections, and internal risk reviews.
Contribute to process improvements, data quality initiatives, and system enhancementsSupport the month-end close process and ensure accurate general ledger entries related to Treasury activitiesAssist in hedging performance tracking and the effectiveness of balance sheet management strategiesEducation And Experience RequiredDegree to honours level, or professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA etc3 years banking experience 1 of which should have been in a Treasury environment;Alternatively, a University business-related qualification with a least 1 year in the Treasury environment. Basic level ACI certificateKnowledge & Skills: Sound understanding of bank balance sheet and income statement analysis;Strong MI background is required.
An understanding of bank liquidity and overall ALM management;A good in-depth knowledge of Treasury products, services and strategies and back-office operations;A strong understanding of regulatory issues and an ability to identify, implement, reserving and capital efficiency strategies is required.
