The Division of Education & Student Experience brings together innovative teams dedicated to empowering students to achieve their best.The Academic Lead, Experiential Learning (Education Focussed) will lead the academic curriculum and teaching operations of Experiential Learning in the Employability team within the Pro Vice-Chancellor Student Success (PVCSS) portfolio. This will involve designing and delivering Experiential Learning courses, including Work Integrated Learning (WIL) and Career Development (CDEV), courses. The role will work closely with the Head of Employability and in collaboration with Faculties and Schools and other key university and external stakeholders and partners to scale the opportunities for Experiential Learning at UNSW.About YouA PhD in a related discipline or relevant work experience including a record of outstanding achievement in a university setting including contributions in learning and teaching. Experience in designing and delivering Experiential Learning including Work Integrated Learning (WIL) courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels will be given preference.Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence and fostering this in others.Demonstrated experience in working with industry, government and social sector organisations; and evidence of professional development of teaching practice in self and others with the ability to advance and lead an inclusive culture of excellence in learning and teaching.Demonstrated experience working with non-academic staff in building and driving strategic outcomes with highly developed communication, planning and organisational skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to engage with various stakeholders to gain successful outcomes.Experience of implementing educational technologies and online and hybrid delivery methods.Evidence of ability to support and inspire students from diverse backgrounds and support student equity diversity and inclusion initiatives.Demonstrated success working in a constructive and collaborative way with academics and professional staff at all levels to build collaborative relationships.Demonstrated experience in teaching and learning design using a range of pedagogical approaches, initiating curriculum development, enhancement and delivery of courses and programs, at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levelFor further information on the role & responsibilities, please refer to the position descriptionHow to Apply: Submit your CV & cover letter addressing the key selection criteria (no more than 2 pages) before 11.55pm Sunday 23rd November 2025 .
